This is shocking on multiple levels. A Freedom of Information request revealed that 158 individuals granted private hire licences had prior convictions for violent offences. In addition, 61 had drug-related convictions, 36 had drink-driving offences, and 4 had sexual offence convictions. Overall, the FOI showed that 438 licences were issued to individuals with criminal records in the last year alone. Further concern arises from reporting by @carolinegall1, which conflates taxi drivers with private hire drivers. Oxford Street must work for Westminster residents, not just visitors. For older people, less mobile residents and families who rely on direct buses, removing services before step-free access is in place would shut locals out of their own high street. @TM1654 @PaulDDDaughters I don't think this was down to the fleets, might be worth checking before slandering, pretty sure curb are an American based company. Most fleets had curb long before this was on the table because of more favourable CC charges.

These fleets with Curb in their Cabs are they sure f***ing offering Uber work one tier facilitators. Shows their priorities and loyalties . I can categorically state the UCG will not take advertising revenue of these fleets. Not Today , Not Tomorrow, Not Ever
