@EUhobgoblin @AlHendiify After they were caught, investigated, & found to have fleeced consumers for over a billion dollars (which they never got back) you mean?

Victor Glover explains why physical controls are better than touchscreens: “If I’m doing something where I’m so busy that I cannot stop and look down at my hands to fly, this is the biggest difference. I have to touch the screen, which means I have to look, because if I touch right next to that arrow, it doesn’t work. In Orion, I have a feel. I don’t have to look. I can focus on precision because I can look out the window the whole time.”
Eric Berger@SciGuySpace

On Orion’s reentry: “And then there was a point—there’s something that I feel that I am not ready to say to the public yet.” arstechnica.com/space/2026/04/…

@EUhobgoblin @AlHendiify They operate at cost. I'm not sure what part is hard for you. Kroger does not operate this way, they operate for profit. Executive bonuses, future investment, etc., none of which are present here. When the commodity price goes down, the cost in the store goes down.

@pleachchapel @AlHendiify So youre picturing a magical world in which government groceries would raise prices when supply goes up and keep them fixed when it goes down? Spell it out man

@StephenFleming What is it you need to look at if not the display? If the display isn't showing you what you need, it's designed wrong.

@AlHendiify This is a horse/cart issue. If they believe a word of this (they don't), it should start immediately, because people are already being fired in the name of AI (which is also largely bullshit, but there should be a price tag for officially using that excuse *NOW*).

If you don’t have a Mac and are trying to keep up with cutting edge AI, you literally can’t. Everything is Mac only or Mac first. This is a huge deal. Leading AI products are essentially built for Mac, with everything else being an afterthought. This is significant

@justcuuper Isn’t this a net $ loss for the city which results in less money for education and services? Even if they dodge state taxes theres still a lot of money generated from Saudis and Chinese people buying empty brownstones

MAGA losing their minds over a New York City tax on personal residencies valued over $5M that aren’t actively lived in is one of the most bizarre developments in this whole saga Why are you upset about this lol

@justcuuper Idk a single republican mad about it… they might be criticizing it, because they understand the long term outcome. But republicans in large part aren’t concerned with the cancer that is NYC. They just aren’t.

@JillFilipovic That's not how this works. That money belongs to those people. The government cannot take it just for funzies. They need to make an argument *for* it. The argument against any tax is "that's mine."

What exactly is the argument against a pied-a-terre tax for second (or third / fourth / fifth) homes worth more than $5 million owned by people who do not even live in the city? It just seems like such a glaringly obvious common-sense policy.

@CaptainLibDaddy @valdrblindi Oh no the Blue Check brigade is here to drop an aggrandized "actually you're wrong & I'm right" with no further explanation. Crazy, that never happens

This is a huge understatement @NASAAdmin bet that EUS would’ve taken over a year to build- EACH while expecting the SLS core stage to beat that cadence (all under the same contractor) Note that SLS & EUS share the same production tooling between the core stage & EUS’ LH2 tank
go4gordon 🌕@go4gordon

It amuses me that people think this "standardized" version of SLS will increase cadence alone, while lacking a second tower and funding to make it possible. Call your reps, this can still be stopped. #ArtemisII

A Left-Wing Account ™️
The DNC literally admitted in court that they rigged the primaries against Bernie, and a judge agreed. This was settled a decade ago, why are you still playing dumb in this big year 2026?

tré easton@treeaston

Bernie broke y’all’s brains in many ways, but I am BEGGING for y’all to let go of the belief that the only reason he lost two successive primaries was because shadowy gatekeepers rigged it against him. Voters voted. He got fewer of them. In “the contest of ideas,” his lost.
