@SamMonsonNFL I think it’s more about statistical probability than about absolute certainty. When we talk about who is likely to have a better career, we zoom out and look at the likely totality of it, which is actually more predictable than “who will be better in their 3rd season.”

The reason suggesting Ty Simpson > Fernando Mendoza isn't crazy: We just came out of an NFL season where we couldn't even agree who the best QB was, with zero projection involved. If we can't even agree who WAS best, how can you POSSIBLY tell who WILL be best accurately?
