I randomly was at one of the big box pet stores I don’t usually visit. Checkout lady asked for me to sign up for something and needed my email “oh it’s easy, what’s your email”. Shocked I continued to rebuff, she then claimed that she’s punished and ‘signed me up’ with a fake email. Sometimes based on bonuses or some sort of incentive, theyre acting rationally. Let’s get mad at the random marketing team pushing that down to the retail employees.

I stopped giving out my emails at stores Today when I asked for my email, I told the lady it’s ok. She gave me so much attitude that I left the sweater and said “actually I’m good I can do without your attitude”.
