It's no coincidence that the first case in which Roberts exercised these unprecedented "shadow docket" powers involved climate change policy. Please always remember that his efforts to damage the planet should be as much a part of his legacy as his attacks on democracy.

To understand why the USA is where it is today, all you need to do is see that Trump cannot tolerate even the mildest, insightful criticism from the Pope, but Trump will allow Putin to humiliate him deeply and constantly, while still craving Putin’s approval.

I think it is a fascinating subject & would require a thorough, serious investigation uncontaminated by connections with a political party. in the past the FBI would be the probable investigator, but no longer. in any case, much of the fascination is the gullibility of so many US citizens. we'd thought Americans more skeptical but it turns out, they seem eager to believe the most far-fetched schemes, like dupes in a Sasha Baron Cohen comedy.
