This was the moment that convinced me it was a staged event... How else do you explain the flag being lowered perfectly into position, as if the entire scene had been frozen until the flag was in place for that ideal photograph?

@JoyceWhiteVance That's alot of words to say we have the most captured and corrupt Leonard Leo installed Supreme Court in history. The billionaires and corporations bought the decisions that cemented their power and Roberts will go down as the most corrupt Chief Justice.

2/By contrast, the papers reveal a court wielding those same powers to block Mr. Obama. Justice Samuel A. Alito Jr. warned that if the court failed to stop the president, its own ‘institutional legitimacy’ would be threatened.”

It's no coincidence that the first case in which Roberts exercised these unprecedented "shadow docket" powers involved climate change policy. Please always remember that his efforts to damage the planet should be as much a part of his legacy as his attacks on democracy.

To understand why the USA is where it is today, all you need to do is see that Trump cannot tolerate even the mildest, insightful criticism from the Pope, but Trump will allow Putin to humiliate him deeply and constantly, while still craving Putin’s approval.

How come we have not seen nor heard from the 2 alleged shot down F-15 pilots? How come we have not had an official casualty count in this 6 week war? What is going on?

#BREAKINGNEWS The Alantic didn't just take and run a story on a couple sources on allegations FBI Director Kash Patel is a national security risk and a blackout drunk. They spoke to and documented interviews with dozens of people. This includes former FBI officials, intelligence agencies, members of congress, and his former advisor. Patel is fucking cooked. 🚨

Buttigieg: Some people say there’s nothing you can do about it unless you have a constitutional amendment. Well, guess what? If that’s true, we ought to have a constitutional amendment. Remember, that didn’t used to be considered impossible. We’ve had about 30 of them. Some of the things we take for granted as core to the Constitution—it’s right in there, the First Amendment, the Second Amendment—the word “amendment” means it wasn’t even in the original text. Amendments have always been a critically important part of how our Constitution is supposed to work. We just forgot about it. We amended our Constitution for prohibition. We changed our Constitution so you couldn’t have a beer. And then we thought that’s a bad idea, and we changed it back. Don’t tell me we can’t change the Constitution to get money out of politics.

🔥🔥🔥🔥 Trump shut down the Epstein investigation a week after he was arrested. Trump shut down the Butler investigation immediately. A month earlier I was shooting a Trump rally in a small town in Pennsylvania the exact same set up as Butler. I believe it was the trial run. Kash Patel shut down Charlie Kirk shooting investigation. The gun and bullet are different. Trump shut down Renee Good and Alex Pretti investigation immediately and blocked evidence. He systematically erasing all evidence of what happened on January 6.

I think it is a fascinating subject & would require a thorough, serious investigation uncontaminated by connections with a political party. in the past the FBI would be the probable investigator, but no longer. in any case, much of the fascination is the gullibility of so many US citizens. we'd thought Americans more skeptical but it turns out, they seem eager to believe the most far-fetched schemes, like dupes in a Sasha Baron Cohen comedy.
Ariel Gonzalez@ArielGonzalez_1

@JoyceCarolOates If only one of America’s greatest novelists chose to write a fictional account of this staged assassination attempt…

Not long ago, black dress shirts were associated with a certain kind of disreputable character — nightclub owners, criminals, and high school prom DJs. Now they're a formal shirt you wear to the Oval Office.

Buttigieg: The founders didn’t set up a democracy because they just thought it was academically interesting. They did it because they saw that if one person has too much power, daily life gets worse. That’s why I’m a little allergic to this idea that we shouldn’t worry about our democracy because we need to talk about things that are a little more immediate. They go together. We should talk about all of them at once. The reason why you paid $1,000 more per household last year in tariffs is because we have a president who doesn’t think he’s accountable to the American people and didn’t think he had to follow the law. These things are connected.

"In public, Chief Justice John Roberts has cultivated a reputation for care & caution. The papers reveal a different side of him. At a critical moment for the country & the court, he acted as a bulldozer in pushing to stop Mr. Obama’s plan to address the global climate crisis."
