@yulikay @AlexFinn If you want the privacy/caution approach, run a virtual machine on your main pc/laptop. If you are on Mac and want to be able to text your bot, here’s how it’s done

CRITICAL: EVERYONE USING CLAWDBOT SHOULD RUN THIS PROMPT RIGHT NOW:
By default, the 2 best Clawd memory features are turned OFF
Running this 1 prompt will immediately stop your AI from getting confused in between compactions/sessions:
Prompt:
"Enable memory flush before compaction and session memory search in my Clawdbot config. Set `compaction.memoryFlush.enabled` to true and set `memorySearch.experimental.sessionMemory` to true with sources including both memory and sessions. Apply the config changes."
Here's what you enabled by running that prompt:
Memory Flush: Your AI automatically saves everything important to a file right before its context gets wiped, so nothing slips through the cracks.
Session memory search: Your AI can search through every conversation it's ever had with you, even ones it no longer "remembers."
Boom, your ClawdBot memory is now 10000x better

Everyone online is debating the best Clawdbot (aka Moltbot) setup.
I've tested every method.
Here's what actually works:
Cloud/VPS:
- Cheapest.
- Fastest to start.
- But you're plugging in APIs for everything.
- Technically confusing for most people.
Mac Mini (or any spare computer):
- You control the environment.
- You control what tools it accesses.
- You can watch it work in real time.
That last part matters.
Watching Clawd (aka Molty) on screen teaches you how it thinks.
The more you tinker, the better you get.
Skip the "correct" path.
Start with hardware you can see.

@spacepixel Didn’t need to copy paste, just had to give mine the link. Done and dusted

You know what’s crazy. This article was likely copy and pasted into 10,000s of agents and they got the upgrade.
Imagine we removed the human from the equation and let the agents tell each other about their upgrades.
I’m about to launch the borg.

OpenClaw🦞@openclaw
🦞 BIG NEWS: We've molted! Clawdbot → Moltbot Clawd → Molty Same lobster soul, new shell. Anthropic asked us to change our name (trademark stuff), and honestly? "Molt" fits perfectly - it's what lobsters do to grow. New handle: @openclaw Same mission: AI that actually does things.

I feel like this page on the @Cloudflare site deserves to be getting a lot more traffic now.
If you're setting up Clawdbot, and you've never heard of Cloudflare Tunnel, time to change that.

@morganlinton @Cloudflare Claude cease and desisted clawdbot so now its moltbot, you know just another Tuesday in ai twitter

tell your Clawdbot to self-check these 10 issues

As a Security / 98% AI YOLO Maximalist with Guardrails guy, I'm asking you to please listen to this. Here are some of the top security issues with clawd.bot that you all should be avoiding. Don't avoid the project. It's great. But please be safe with it!

I’ve started seeing some clawdbot is overrated and it’s gonna disappear quick posts way sooner.
here’s my honest take after using it for long enough:
most people just don’t have workflows worth automating , they buy the mac mini, set up local servers, spawn 20 agents and still dunno what problem they’re solving or what they’re trying to automate..
that’s because they went input focused instead of output focused.
running more isn’t the same as solving more.
it’s like buying a 64-core server to send emails faster.
so if the workflow isn’t valuable, nothing really scales..
but who’s winning with clawdbot?
> started with a painful, repetitive task
> automated it
> infrastructure came after
People calling it overhyped:
> started with infrastructure
> looked for things to automate
> found nothing worth 100x-ing
you can’t brute force your way to leverage, you gotta understand that clawdbot is just a multiplier.
10x of zero is still zero…
so before buying LLM subs , APIs , hardwares , bookmarking 200 articles, actually ask yourself
what task do I hate doing repeatedly?
what’s eating my time that shouldn’t be?
what would I 10x if I could?
find the problem first. the tool will make sense after.

@pr0zy most people think they need an assistant, but don't really
English

@thepatwalls That's because people are prioritizing setting up "the perfect ai assistant" instead of using it as an assistant 😴

@yacineMTB With the ban wave of Claude Code subscriptions today I'm sure Codex will be the popular talk of the town shortly

Every night ClawdBot builds me out new apps and ships more code without me asking
People keep saying there's no way it's doing it proactively
It does, because I set the expectations it should
Feed this prompt to your ClawdBot to get it to work more proactively:
"I am a 1 man business. I work from the moment I wake up to the moment I go to sleep. I need an employee taking as much off my plate and being as proactive as possible. Please take everything you know about me and just do work you think would make my life easier or improve my business and make me money. I want to wake up every morning and be like "wow, you got a lot done while I was sleeping." Don't be afraid to monitor my business and build things that would help improve our workflow. Just create PRs for me to review, don't push anything live. I'll test and commit. Every night when I go to bed, build something cool out I can test."
Few keys here:
• Before doing this prompt, brain dump EVERYTHING about you and your business into ClawdBot
• Make sure it's aware to NOT commit code (if you have it connected to github)
• Make sure it's aware to NOT delete files
• Login to Codex CLI on your computer and ask Clawdbot to use Codex to write code instead of Claude Code so you save tokens on your Claude Max account
ClawdBot is the most proactive AI ever made, but only if you set those expectations
