This is quite annoying tbh. Same problem with MH onward to ICN and return to BLR from Kuala Lumpur. It was too hot and getting sweaty and the AC was not working at all even though boarding was in progress and till take off. 20 mins later it was so cool that i need blanket.

Problem identified but not the solution. The right solution is to jail the persons responsible for 3 years for wilful negligence and ban him and his family to ever operate the school bus business. If not for these harsh punishments, these will keep repeating !

Gadkari promised opening in 2024 before elections. So it’s not gonna be easy and not soon. 2040 only we can expect !

@AbelAmos We Indians are the most pessimistic about ourselves. Some day not too far, we will see Mumbai Pune and Chennai Bengaluru high speed trains.

As a frequent night train traveller, thank you Ashwini Vaishnaw-ji 🙏 I agree with him that most of our flying should be replaced with high speed trains. India is the ideal geography for trains, both high speed trains and local trains. We can travel Delhi-Mumbai or Chennai-Mumbai in 4-5 hours (Beijing-Shanghai is about the same distance). Now let me come to local city/suburb/exurb train networks. Japan's local train networks are a marvel of both engineering and business planning. Japan has real estate companies that run private local train networks, connecting various suburbs/exurbs. They combine train stations with shopping malls, hospitals and the like. In India, a lot of idle capital locked up in semi-urban or urban real estate can be used to finance the build up by private companies. Japan presents a very interesting model. Now my personal passion: we must build trains to every panchayat in India (250,000 station network!). Building the network will massively stimulate the economy and create rural jobs. Once the infrastructure is done, it will attract higher value economic activity. It will set off a 10-15 year economic boom!

@DealsDhamaka Typically the old broken AI flights’s business class seats used to be dirt cheap in comparison to emirates. The fact that AI seat was 500$ more tells a lot about how beaten down the ticket prices of emirates have become !!

Air India Chicago - Delhi … the saga continues … ✍🏾 Honest review … will I fly again ? After the 2 nightmares I had in 2024, I thought I would never fly AI in this sector again. My Emirates flight ✈️ from Chicago had a schedule change due to the recent attack … At last minute, I cancelled Emirates and booked Air India ( it was 500$ extra), for business class to Delhi and economy from there. The flight was as usual, 1 hour late to start with, I sat in 12 C seat 💺 - which wasn’t reclining for a 15 hour flight 😭 as I had previously experienced, I checked before the flight took off … the ground staff then changed to 14C - which was then said by the crew that it’s a crew seat … finally was given 10H - they upgraded the person in 10H to first class seat which was having some issues - but the person was okay. Then a 2 more hour delay after boarding … infrastructure as usual is really bad - broken seats, armrests and charging points don’t work at all … but it was expected, so it didn’t bother me much The in-flight crew as usual was amazing … extremely professional, said they worked with Jet Airways in the past, took food orders, ensured we were comfortable, shared the flight information time to time as most of us had connecting flights. They are going through 787 training, they themselves understand the infra is broken, and feel customers are not getting the best for what they pay. But trying their best to provide top notch service. Food was okay, I slept for a good 8-9 hours. Landed in Delhi, missed our flight, but they already booked the next flight and gave premium economy ticket. Was it really bad ? Naah… expect the flight being very old and abused by Air India during babus years … overall it was a good travel. Hoping for a full scale transformation soon 👍

A cautionary tale about @urbancompany_uc and how a publicly listed company handles damage claims. Booked their technician (Sanju Kumar) to install a Luminous inverter at my home in Bangalore. Routine job. Should've been 2 hours. Invoice no: UCIC260004101947 Complaint no: 69f362690db9530026fe28d7 Instead of a standard install, he opened the main switchboard and worked with MAINS LIVE violating the most basic electrical safety rule. Phase-neutral cross-connection caused a ~280V surge through my home wiring. Within minutes: • Geyser circuit dead - Approximation given is around 12,000 to fix • 55" Smart TV motherboard fried, panel and screen damaged - looking at full loss ( Rs 48,000) • Apple TV completely destroyed (₹14,900 replacement) • Home electrical wiring compromised (Assessing currently) The moment Sanju Kumar realized he'd damaged the geyser, he packed up and LEFT mid-job. Inverter still uninstalled. No fix. No apology. No accountability. Had to hire a different electrician the next day to fix the wiring he broke out of my own pocket. Filed formal complaint with UC. Specifically requested a SENIOR technician for independent damage assessment. UC's response? They sent SANJU KUMAR BACK. The same person who caused the damage. To "take photos" of his own work and walk away. He showed up, photographed the damage he caused, left without resolution. No claims process opened. No callback. When we asked UC for a complaint ID, it took multiple follow-ups and a manual download of a tax invoice to extract any documentation. They were not proactive in issuing one almost as if to avoid creating a paper trail. 3 sleepless nights. ₹40,000+ in documented damages. Complete radio silence from UC corporate after that. @urbancompany_uc @abhirajbhal @raghavchandra @varunkhaitan — your company is publicly listed now. Retail and institutional shareholders are watching how customer grievances are handled. Is THIS the customer experience model investors signed up for? 1. Technician violates basic electrical safety 2. Damages multiple appliances and home wiring 3. Walks off mid-job when he realizes his mistake 4. Same technician sent back to "investigate" his own damage 5. Customer chases for documentation that should've been auto-generated 6. Then gets ghosted Listed companies are held to a higher standard of corporate governance, customer protection, and grievance redressal. SEBI compliance and investor disclosures aren't just about quarterly numbers they extend to how the brand treats its customers. This isn't how a publicly listed company should operate. Asking for: 1. Independent senior technician (not Sanju Kumar) to assess damage 2. Compensation for documented damages: ₹90,000+ 3. Formal acknowledgment of complaint 69f362690db9530026fe28d7 4. Process review — no customer should have to extract their own complaint ID 5. Public clarification on UC's damage claims SOP Have all invoices, technician's diagnosis report confirming overvoltage cause, photos, timestamps, and WhatsApp records. please be careful. If a clearly documented case is handled this way, imagine the cases without paper trails. Consumer forum filing prepared if there's no response in 48 hours.

Hey @_PVRCinemas We booked movie with PVR luxury for a show at 10:40 pm at Palladium and halfway during the movie as some people in the hall started smoking which triggered the fire alarm. We had to leave the movie midway. What action you took on the morons? And what about the money we lost in the process ????

@UpdatesChennai In LKG movie I remember the scene where RJ Balaji mocks the need for another highway equating to having 3 wives when even one is unmanageable ! Not just RJB, but everyone mocked and laughed at the need for the another expressway.

Damn! The testing of the emergency mobile broadcast service was done today. Huge alert on all the phone. On Android it was very easy to close it down. However on iPhone it wasn't even after closing the notification the audio kept on playing till last. Though govt had notified in advanced but if not, I would have thought phone is hacked.

Guess where I am? Stalled somewhere after jayadeva bus stop. Why? The new @BMTC_BENGALURU ticketing method. The conductor has to generate individual QR codes for each passenger, but since ticketing is for stages, they have to issue all tickets before the bus passes that stage.
