@MamataOfficial Madam, please resume UTSASHREE so that primary teachers who are posted at another district and long distance can get benefited. This scheme is your dream welfare mentally for us but few officers do not want this, they always misguide you.

We are proud that our "Yogyashree" scheme which we started to provide completely free-of-cost training to SC/ST students of the state for admission in engineering and medical courses has been yielding increasingly greater and greater benefits for our SC/ST boys & girls. Now we shall include the boys and girls of Minority, OBC and General categories also in this scheme. In 2024 alone these "Yogyashree" trainees got 23 ranks (including 13 IIT seats) in JEE (Advanced), 75 ranks in JEE( Main), 432 ranks in WBJEE, and 110 ranks in NEET. These achievements in these tough competitive examinations are better than even the earlier years' results. In consideration of the value of this critical training support to our disadvantaged boys and girls, we have increased the number of centres in the State now to 50 and number of our supported trainees to 2000 and the training will be given from Class XI onwards for better preparation. Let our boys and girls from the weaker sections be engineers and doctors in larger numbers. We shall now include students of Minority, OBC, and General categories also in this scheme. Kudos to them!

Scared of the WB State Govt Employees' Gandhian agitation; who are demanding DA at par with the Central Govt rate, CM @MamataOfficial got two draconian orders issued, which wasn't even issued during the Emergency days. Shri Manoj Pant (IAS); Additional Chief Secretary, Finance Dept, issued two orders which inadvertently showcases the dread that has crept into Nabanna officialdom due to the agitation. The "authoritarian" Order no. 3371-F(P2) states that no casual leave or any other leave shall be granted to any employee on any day from 22.5.2023 (Monday) onwards, unless the employee is hospitalized or is suffering from severe illness and is absent on that account from before 19th May, 2023 or if someone dies in the employee’s family. The pertinent questions are:- # So, if an employee falls ill, he/she shall have to be necessarily & compulsorily hospitalized? So any illness which doesn't require hospitalisation doesn't qualify as illness? Or the employee has to visit a Doctor at the OPD for routine treatment & tests for illness or for chronic disease? Going by the recent news of critical patients being denied admission in several Govt hospitals, what happens when an employee is unable to get admitted due to shortage of hospital beds? # What about Illness of the family members? That is not a sufficient reason for a casual leave? # Aren't the WB State Govt employees at liberty to take a casual leave for celebrating any happy occasion like a marriage in the family or birthday or anniversary? Is it that, only the CM would decide when it's a happy occasion & a half day off would be allocated like on Jamai Sashti? Other personal events of the employees don't count? They don't get to decide which event or occasion they should be celebrating?
