From a simple button phone to an iPhone 17 not just an upgrade in devices, but a journey of growth, learning, and persistence. I did have a smartphone in between, but it wasn’t upgraded. I always saw big agency owners click so good design photos from their phone of their designs And go a lot of engagement and clients because it was always a clear picture Started with limited tools, slow internet, and big dreams. Today, I design for the web, build experiences, and keep evolving every single day. It’s never about where you start. It’s about how far you’re willing to go.

Paid him for the community now, but earlier I was planning to handle this legally so Indian law could decide. But the situation on X turned against me, and people started thinking it was about money. So I paid to make it clear that money has never been a problem for me. The real problem was something inside the team, and it was misrepresented to the community to damage my reputation. If any of you think I’m wrong, feel free to take legal action. Pratham and I are both in the same country. Turning personal conflicts within the team into “community exploitation” is wrong. If I’m not authentic, how did I manage to build a team of 12? You guys are note capable to do a basic math? To be continued...

Update: this has been resolved. Grateful to everyone in the design community who supported me through this stressful phase and stood for what’s fair 🙏 Really Means a lot. I was owed ₹1.33L but ₹1.5L has been paid, and the remaining ₹17k will be settled by evening. I never intended to affect anyone’s reputation but the situation led me to take that step. I always prefer resolving things calmly and directly. Thanks a lot Design Community!🫶🫶 @BrettFromDJ @adriankuleszo @jamesm @stevelauda_ @rahulbhadoriiya @hewarsaber the list would be too long if I tagged everybody, but truly appreciate each one of you.

This is how designers get exploited. I joined Lander studio (@Praha37v ) without a contract. No written agreement. No notice period. Just mutual trust. I never joined to earn a lot of money - but to learn new things, meet new people, build meaningful connections, in general to gain experience & grow. Structure was simple: – ₹40,000/month base – ~10% incentive on client projects I worked on I showed up consistently for ~6 months. Delivered on multiple client projects. Worked over 12 hrs a day with no fixed holidays. Then things changed. When I decided to leave, surprisingly I was given 3 options to get my pending dues: Work 1 more month → no incentives paid Work 2 months, complete 10 templates → 50% incentives + salary Work 3 months, complete 15 templates → 80% incentives + salary (That’s ~1 template every 3 days. 12+ hrs a day.) And obviously I didn’t agree to these terms. Now, despite multiple follow-ups, my dues are still pending. Breakdown: – ₹40,000 (salary of the last month) – ~$900 from 3 client projects Total: ~₹1.3L Instead of clearing the dues, I am also seeing the work I contributed in the last month to being used commercially on framer marketplace with a completely different account (not his usual account). I’m not here to create any drama - just asking for what’s fair. Asking the pay for 300+ hrs of hardwork. Praha, please clear the pending amount. At last I just want to say that I am not only standing up to get my money, but also for myself, for my right, for what I deserve. And honestly it’s too much stress for me as a 18y/o, so want to resolve it as soon as possible. Fellow designers: If this feels unfair to you too, Would really appreciate every kind of support in bringing this post visibility so that no other designers go through this trauma. Thank you.

@Praha37v, this is shameful. This kid worked 12 hours a day for you and you are ghosting his pay? You have 24 hours to pay him every rupee. No more talk, no more options. Just send the money now. The whole industry is watching you.

design saga....@prathamdesigns hope you are well and get paid your dues, this is not acceptable
Pratham Jindal@prathamdesigns

I think you guys might have read @Praha37v recent article & reply to my first post but both of them completely doesn’t make any sense to me, you might felt the same as I did. First of all he didn’t paid me 6,01,000, the net amount he paid me was 4,48,000. the difference is the company asset which was provided to me and I have safely returned that to one of our team member as Praha asked me to do. So Lying about my pay doesn’t makes sense. (Attaching all the proofs here) Secondly, he explicitly used “ processing the incentive, which are already discussed, is his personal decision" 🤯. Doesn’t that sounds a bit ridiculous. So, first he is motivating an employee that do the project and you will get x% share, the employee gives his best and then Praha says that it’s my personal decision to process it or not. Makes no sense. He can’t keep employees in this fake bubble. Few points from article that I want to counter: 1. He was paying me more than what I had asked, because on that same call, he said that you have to give all your day and treat it like your company. Which I really did until all this happened! Not really sure if 12-13 hrs a day is less. 2. In my opinion, leaving a company in 6 months is not equivalent to abusing and misusing the environment at all. Instead company environment felt a bit toxic, negative and disrespectful to me lately! 3. About the ‘project’ that I didn’t complete: I mentioned him in my messages that I will make sure that the transition will be smooth from my side, so intentionally I didn’t want to leave that midway. 4. Also there was no working day left for which I will work for. 29th gone arguing with each other and me returning the laptop to team member. And on 30 you removed me from both of the 2 main groups, so I think from here the intention was clear. Recently, he had a case with one of the client projects I worked on, client ghosted after project completion. But at the end, they pay him. That’s what morally ethical and right thing to do. The goal was never to disrespect or to affect Praha's reputation. It was just to stand up and express, what wrong and unethical happened with me after discussing it directly. I want to end this by today or max tomorrow after. hence, I request Praha to pay my hard-earned dues asap. I think that's all to prove that my pay is due. Thank you. I am attaching all the proofs in thread. 🧵

Thats why you always have a contract and clear boundaries Without those you will just get squeezed as much as possible and still end up being scammed

Having no contract and trusting blindly was my mistake, and I take full responsibility for that. I have no issues clearing the pending dues, but for that, he needs to speak with me and discuss it directly. His father and I were already in discussion to resolve this, and I was waiting for a second call from him to continue and settle things mutually. But suddenly posting publicly in middle of arguments is not acceptable, and the community supporting it without full context is also not right. If the goal is to make me look bad and affect my reputation, then it’s fine, I can accept it, because this profile was built by the design community. One of my team members will contact Pratham and complete the formalities to resolve this by tomorrow. Thank you.
