Love what Dhravya has been building and his work. He understands memory, so I am a little taken aback by this article. I am going to push back on this pretty strongly. This is being framed as a breakthrough when it's mostly benchmark engineering + system inflation. First, 115k+ tokens are no longer a hard problem. We already have 1M+ context windows in production. Calling this "long-term memory" is stretching it. Second, LongMemEval is no longer representative of real systems. It's been around for a while and doesn’t capture long-running agent workflows, real-time updates, noisy tool outputs, and cost/latency constraints. Third, the "99% accuracy" claim is misleading. If you run 8 parallel prompts and count any correct answer as success, you are not improving memory. You are increasing the probability of a hit. That's not intelligence but sampling until something works. (spray and pray) Same with the 12-agent voting setup. It's essentially majority voting across multiple attempts, which inflates benchmark scores without improving core capability. Fourth, saying "no vector DB needed" is not an actual unlock. You have just replaced retrieval with multiple LLM passes, which require higher compute, greater latency, and higher cost. It is shifting complexity, not removing it. These things matter a lot in a production system, so you can forget about deploying this in production. Fifth, the core claim that "agentic retrieval beats vector search" is oversimplified. The real problem in memory systems isn’t embeddings vs agents. Its relevance filtering, temporal consistency, memory lifecycle (what to store/forget), and grounding vs. hallucination. None of these are solved here. Also, this entire system assumes perfect extraction during ingestion, relies heavily on prompt engineering, and offers no guarantees of consistency across runs. So calling memory "solved" is very premature. This is a good experiment in agent orchestration, not a memory solution.

@mehulmpt I am glad , people are calling this out. The effort to go from 0 to 80% has been reduced, but 80 to 100% is still as time consuming as before

you are metally unstable if you are paying any penny let alone 180k, which is many people's engineering fees for a coding COURSE in big 2026

CP was never optional It just suffered its reputation coz of some average to below average IQ people got hired during covid from colleges like DTU NSUT IGDTUW into some of reputed tech companies and started their courses and sheets.

The tone around Dubai online is bizarre. Some people talk about it almost like a symbol they want to see humbled. For millions across South Asia it’s simply where work is and where families are supported. When instability somewhere starts being treated as a point scoring validation moment, the perspective has clearly been lost. Sad.

Citadel Securities published this graph showing a strange phenomenon. Job postings for software engineers are actually seeing a massive spike. Classic example of the Jevons paradox. When AI makes coding cheaper, companies actually may need a lot more software engineers, not fewer. When software is cheaper to build, companies naturally want to build a lot more of it. Businesses are now putting software into industries and tools where it was simply too expensive before. --- Chart from citadelsecurities .com/news-and-insights/2026-global-intelligence-crisis/

problem with these DSA course sellers is they prey on people's vulnerability, selling dreams in name of some sheets, they make you believe by just solving one sheet you will get a job and yea people fall for it seriously? In 2026? we thinking solving a 150 problem sheet will get you a good paying job even the best "dsa coders" I know, CMs on codeforces, just laugh at those sheets, there are so many better options available online if you really wanna be good at it but most chose the easy path but that's just now how it works, you don't wanna be spoonfed it's not good in long run, you need to learn how to FAFO, that's a very important skill that will help you in your life just FAFO, and you will eventually get what you want and also please make some nice projects, learn how to develop real systems, learn fundamentals, and get out of this dsa bubble

I’m completely stranded at Moscow airport… alone, helpless, and running out of hope. No one from @makemytripcare or @etihad is answering my desperate messages. Russia doesn’t accept Visa or Mastercard anymore. I have ZERO cash left. Not even for food or water. The Etihad ground staff is avoiding me more than my ex ever did — literally turning their faces away and telling me “just call customer care”… which has been busy for hours. I’m standing here like a beggar in my own nightmare. I don’t know how I’m going to get home. I’m scared. I feel abandoned by the very companies I trusted with my journey. My family is waiting and I can’t even tell them I’m safe. Please… if anyone from Etihad, MakeMyTrip, or even the Indian embassy sees this — HELP ME. And if you’re reading this, just one RT could save me. I’m begging. #StrandedInMoscow

Is it just me or does this sound absolutely miserable to anyone else? Why would I want to spend my time writing requirements and reviewing code instead of directly building things? Building stuff is the fun part! How about we replace the boring parts like meetings and emails and status updates and issue triage. Engineers should be making tools to make *our* jobs better, not helping the idea guys replace us with slop.

"You need to learn all these esoteric AI skills IMMEDIATELY or else blah blah permanent underclass" This is completely retarded Every "AI skill" people have learned over the last 3 years has been obsoleted 3 months later when a new model comes out Remember 'ultrathink?' Chain-of-thought prompting? Goofy roleplay prompts? ("You are a genius software developer. Please oneshot this for me") Heavy few-shot prompting? Context engineering? This is just going to keep happening There are several hundred-billion-dollar companies whos job is to make this shit so easy to use that your mom could figure it out on her cellphone That esoteric memory management system you built? It will be completely obsoleted in 6 months by a native version that's way better The only "AI skills" that have been consistently useful this entire time are just "having good ideas" and "being able to communicate them clearly" If you cannot do those things, then yah, you're going to be just as bad at AI as you were at everything else
_gabrielShapir0@lex_node

I'm increasingly sensing that "people who get really good at AI will survive & thrive" is likely a cope It doesn't require much skill, obviously it will also require less & less skill...I don't think any 'edge' you have today as a mere AI 'power user' will last long...

Dubai is a city which has given immense opportunities to Indians, a lot of people have made generational wealth being there since last few decades. Sure it’s going through a rough patch right now, and you shouldn’t feel happy about it, just wait, things will be fine.

12 months, really? Dario & Sama should be held accountable & possibly jailed for creating this non stop FUD possibly to sell secondaries of their shares Its all so tiring and markets lap up every word what these 2 slimy founders speak as gospel truth Imagine the positivity when Steve jobs launched iPhone etc & how iPhones would value add to society All that these 2 morons do is NON STOP doom loop & THERE IS not a single mention of positivity & how it would value add to society Temme one instance where life would be 10X better (like Nokia->iPhone) than than what it is today because of AI
