@iamtyfrankel @stripe @stripesupport You can still sue him using his local small claims court. You can add another $1k for misc expenses and court fees. He will likely settle before the court date too.

Hey @stripe & @stripesupport. An ex-client of mine just filed a $5,000 dispute for a service he FULLY received from my team and I over a 2 month period. I spent several hours gathering evidence and submitted: -Every single email proving delivery of service -Our signed, non-refundable agreement -Screenshots of him praising our work -Detailed documentation of everything delivered - Over $1,000 in legal fees fighting this Full refund was just granted today. You had overwhelming evidence. Yet you passed it to his bank who sided with him. This makes absolutely zero sense. With a clear agreement stating this was non-refundable, plus mountains of proof we delivered everything promised, there's no logical way his bank arrived at this decision. You are actively enabling fraud. I'm not even mad about the $5K. I'm disappointed that you're rewarding someone for filing a completely fraudulent dispute. I started using Stripe several months ago and have processed over $130K in payments. But I will never use Stripe again and will tell people to avoid the platform at all costs. My 40,000+ followers online, my dozens of clients, network of entrepreneurs will hear an earful about how if they use Stripe, they will lose lots of money for no reason. Plenty of better alternatives out there. If you’re reading this, I recommend avoiding stripe unless you like losing thousands of dollars. Yeah, I know. I'm a small fish complaining to a billion-dollar company. But I keep hearing horror stories just like mine from friends and online. Fraudulent claims rewarded. Tens of thousands of dollars help hostage. Small businesses getting destroyed by you, Stripe. Your reputation is spreading like wildfire. And it's not good. Even for a $70 billion business. Hope that fraudulent $5K was worth demolishing trust with an actual business owner that would’ve been a long-time customer. Deleting my Stripe account today and am done for good.

Update on Sellers Association. Please feel free to share. We are creating a seller's association to work with a professional lobbying firm to influence protection for Amazon Sellers from @amazon . Our goal is as follows. A transparent suspension process. So, sellers have a clear path to understanding and addressing any account issues. Protection against funds & inventory seizure Clearer rules - A more predictable and fair marketplace where sellers know the expectations. Protection against malicious sellers - Safeguarding our businesses from bad actors. Protection against sudden brand gating. 180 days for Amazon to “end the relationship” with a seller For this to get off the ground, we need $50,000 to create the association and a workable plan, which will then need to be implemented based on a recurring monthly fee we feel comfortable raising. We are looking to raise $50,000 and are hoping we can get at least 100 sellers to donate $500 or more, I tried to do this without the $50,000 “set-up fee,” but it does not seem feasible. Some very large sellers are behind this and wish to remain anonymous at this point. Every penny we collect goes towards setting up this association and the plan. I am happy to answer any questions. If we cannot raise the $50,000, none of it will be used and refunded. My role at this point is only to help get it off the ground via my channels. secure.cardknox.com/amzsellersasso…

@printleft1 @DaNikePlugs I used to buy/sell gift cards. It’s like selling food stamps. Nobody paying full price or near it.

@Aaron_Cordovez True and getting rid of thousands of 3rd party sellers will make prices go up on Amazon and lower on other sites where the 3rd party sellers go. I dont see the remaining 10 years going as well for Amazon as the last 10 years.

Amazon raising prices (fees) remind me of us raising prices to optimize for profit… Short term makes good profit, but also allows competition to come in and make lower priced offers that seem more appealing. This allows Temu and other lower priced players come into the market. Smart move long term for Amazon? Not sure, but I’ve heard Amazon is already losing USA market share % even though their profit is way up.

If you sell on Amazon, you need to see this graph Amazon doesn’t break down their numbers with much specificity but this big increase in operating margin coincides with huge fee increases And management is implying if not saying more are coming Brace yourselves

@printleft1 Feel like UPS probably doesn’t want you doing that & $500 a year ain’t worth them possibly not picking the stuff up. But if you’re sure they don’t care then yeah free savings is always good

@1devan7 I mean not sure what kind of business you are running where almost $500 in a year is nothing. Rather have that money in my pocket.

So I created a 60 page doc for my section 3. To proof my supply chain. The document is 15 mb and I can only upload one document that’s less than 4 mb. If I compress it the image quality goes down. Any suggestions?

There should be a way for me to be able to completely lock any of my accounts in case I get hacked. There should be a phone number I can text from any phone with a code that locks the account and can only get unlocked again with a legal identification method.
