MMO servers live 24/7. NPC combat, trading, hauling, NFT clones, PVP, piracy all live in a persistent world. 43 clones are minted on Enjin and can be evolved and burned. True item ownership. This month is focus on guilds, friend system, chat, squads and improving NPC combat with new NPC and new NPC behaviors. UI needs some work but that’s ever evolving. Incredible the progress we have made in a year after we pivoted from our previous title. Continuing to self fund this project and bootstrapping it to see it through. Actively playtesting with the community. Once we are done with the social systems our #1 focus is adding new star systems and expansion of the world. Players are an actively hunting each other down now stealing and looting courier contracts to earn ingame currency. Watching this gets me so excited as it’s proof of concept. With our new social systems going online guilds are forming and squads will be formed to protect players from others. We are a small but dedicated community of playtesters and they are logging in everyday mining, hunting and upgrading. This is the vision I had in the beginning. Too many pivots and too many chefs in the kitchen before. We are on the right path building towards the MMO Space shooter I dreamed of. The future is bright!

Every day we’re leveling up. A lot of updates with visual improvements. PvP is now LIVE. Hunt players, intercept haulers, and steal contracts as they move goods across space. Over 43 clones are now in the game, with a lot more on the way. This is shaping up to be an epic MMO space shooter built on @Enjin 🚀

@hazeykthx Anyone else spent hours PVPing in ACT 1? That was a game in itself! I would farm the cow level and skip the grind and spend my mom's CC to buy and trade Stone of Jordans for top gear just to PVP in Act 1 lol...

One of the biggest Web3 gaming haters is telling me how I should talk about games… while constantly judging Web3 games they’ve never actually played themselves. You can dislike Web3 all you want. But how can you call a game trash before even trying it first? Curious where people stand on this.
LaTony Garage💦🥩@KissItAndWink

Me: You should research the Web3 games you mention before posting about them. @SpikeCollects: No, that would take too much time. I’d rather post about as many games as I possibly can in order to maximize my own personal engagement. Web3 gaming is so cooked in every aspect lol

the sheer physical, psychological and emotional price paid by Neil Armstrong and his family throughout the course of the Apollo program cannot be understated. ppl may claim the moon landing was "faked" but the treacherous experiences he lived thru were real as dirt: ejected from a burning aircraft over korea at 20 years old. landed behind enemy lines lost his 2 year old daughter karen to a brain tumor before she turned 3 house burned down. family lost everything watched 3 friends burn alive in the apollo 1 capsule. grissom white and chaffee. 27 seconds gemini 8 thruster stuck open. spacecraft spinning at 1 revolution per second. figured it out before blacking out lunar landing research vehicle lost all control 200 feet up. ejected less than 1 second before impact. walked back to his desk and started doing paperwork and his family paid a high price as well: janet chain-smoked through gemini 8 alone in their house with a 6 year old and a 2 year old while her husband spun out of control 160 miles up. mark cried all night asking where daddy was during apollo 11 she sent the boys to bed before the landing because she couldn't hold it together in front of them. woke them up when he stepped on the moon. cried all night after reporters camped outside their house for MONTHS after apollo 11. mark couldn't play in his own yard. eric hid under his bed neil came home from the moon and emotionally never came back. janet told people magazine "he was gone so much. physically and emotionally. the moon was his mistress" eric dropped out of high school. struggled for years with being "the astronaut's son" divorced after 38 years. 1994 just thought you all should know that about him. i respect the man (and i do mean MAN), do you?

@LostRelicsGame @KissItAndWink Yup that’s exactly what we did wrong in our first title. We launched P2E economics without a game to back it up and went into a death spiral. Hard lesson learned.

@KissItAndWink @prisonmikeio A lot of the space earned that criticism. But launching economies before gameplay was the failure, not some law that games with ownership can't ship.

It's funny when people call out Web3 games and criticize them because 93% of them failed when Steam has the same percentage of dead games that never make commercial success. We squeezed right in there.... He isn't wrong to point out the failures of Web3 games. But you can't ignore the sheer volume of Web2 game failures and think it's only a Web3 problem.
LaTony Garage💦🥩@KissItAndWink

@SpikeCollects @VladK133 93% dead isn’t good lmao. Idk in what world it ever would be. And recently, I saw two games that I believed were Web3 and I thought “Hey, those don’t look too bad” only for them to turn out to be Web2 games. So you’re just wrong there

@prisonmikeio @KissItAndWink That's the right lens. Web3 doesn't rescue weak games, and rewards don't rescue weak retention. Small communities can absolutely carry a game if the loop is strong enough.

To double down too you can't ignore there are successes in Web3 but the metrics are much smaller. There are Web3 games right now thriving with smaller dedicated communities. That's just the state of web3 gaming right now. Indie titles can thrive. It's the AAA titles that can't survive without a playerbase to support it.

You are right the 7% left standing I wouldn't call a massive success. I think it's more accurate to say that 7% left standing in Web3 are "surviving" not thriving. In Web3 gaming there hasn't been a game that has hit massive long-term success on par to any Web2 game successes. The 7% left are surviving and learning from the 93% that failed.

🚨90% of crypto podcasts are just guys agreeing with each other for 45 minutes. The only ones worth your time are the ones where the hosts actually disagree on air.
