@ErikHaliewicz You project the voxels from column onto the screen, but how do you draw this voxels on screen ? With a CPU polygon drawing fonction or with a shader or with a GPU draw primitive ?

@procfxgen I raycast vertical planes into the world, intersect them with voxel columns, and project the visible, solid voxels in that column onto the screen.

Fixed my hacky transparency a bit. Fixed the blending math, and it now skips identical colors during raycasting, so it should be perfect for materials like glass. Making the entire map transparent is just for testing and naturally exhibits artifacts :) #voxels #voxelgamedev
