The problem with Nigeria is largely its people. Someone was killed!!! Do you understand how terrible it is to take another person’s life? The Bible says the greatest love is to lay down one’s life, yet you’re out here taking a life over perceived sexuality, and even justifying it. That is deeply disturbing.

@fabianthafirst I have come to learn somethings in my life: 1. The opressed are not themselves incapable of oppression. 2. Being good is very difficult. It requires you to challenge your deep rooted ideologies. Many of us are incapable of that.

The people that gathered to protest against inhumane brutality from the police are the same ones enabling homophobia everyday that has now led to the deaths of queer people in inhumane ways in this country. You people learn nothing in this country & you deserve nothing good.

I am deeply saddened when people say things like this without reading “Loss is an Aftertaste of Memories.” Read it before giving up on African literature. I also have many good recommendations.
