NHS England won't tell us how much migrants are costing the health service. They won't tell us how many illegal migrants are using the health service. People can see the pressure that immigration is putting on the NHS. You can't solve the problem by refusing to acknowledge it.

The Government doesn't publish the full facts on how migration impacts the NHS - including the long-term costs of hiring from abroad rather than training people here. I've written to the Health Secretary, asking him to publish this information in full, or explain why he won't.

No matter how you condemn this act, no matter how archaic you think it is, even if it is not scientifically proven, I can tell it to you for free that it works. I've used it, I've sent and heard testimonies,my grand mother used it, my mother also and I am also passing it to my children. This sh!t works for cattarh and cold in children and adult.

Most migrants living in the UK pay the Immigration Health Surcharge (IHS) in addition to taxes. The current IHS is £1,035 per person per year for adults and £776 per year for children. And it is paid upfront for the entire visa duration. Some examples: -Couple (2 adults) on a 5-year visa £1,035 × 2 people × 5 years = £10,350 paid to access the NHS -Family of four (2 adults + 2 children) on a 5-year visa Adults: £1,035 × 2 × 5 = £10,350 Children: £776 × 2 × 5 = £7,760 Total paid upfront = £18,110 That is before income tax, National Insurance, VAT, and visa fees. Two additional realities. -The surcharge must be paid even if the person rarely or never uses the NHS. -It is non-refundable if they stay healthy. So the conversation about NHS pressure should be evidence-based.

Feels surreal to say that I’ve completed my Doctor of Public Health degree @LSHTM, analysing Nigeria’s vaccine manufacturing ambition Ten years after my BSc & while building a career I love I wish there were more stories like this when I was starting. Hopefully it inspires❤️

@nikitabier I asked Grok how often you brushed your teeth in order to go through 800 tubes of toothpaste in 10 years. Grok says you brushed your teeth about 131 times per day without rest.

My agent looked up every Amazon product I've bought in the last 10 years, called each manufacturer, said it broke and demanded a replacement. I now have 6 TVs, 12 printers, 2 microwaves, and 800 tubes of tooth paste.

Oral nicotine pouches (ONPs) represent a legitimate, effective harm reduction tool capable of delivering measurable improvements in both cessation rates and oral health outcomes, without causing serious health harms. The evidence is unequivocal: ONPs can significantly reduce the global burden of oral disease, cancer and smoking-related mortality when policymakers choose science over ideology. Dear @ChidiOdinkalu, At the University of Ibadan, excellence is earned through rigorous academic standards, merit-based admissions, & a demanding curriculum that has produced leaders for over 75 years. Our 58 First Class honors reflect the exceptional thard work of these students
Chidi Anselm Odinkalu, CGoF@ChidiOdinkalu

So 58 out of 146 students in the law faculty at @UniIbadan supposedly made 1st class? That is like 40% of the class? It is either a class spectacularly littered with geniuses or @inecnigeria now awards the grades in the faculty. Congratulations to #INEC.

Gmail does not consider dots as characters. For instance, pagboola@gmail.com, p.a.g.b.o.o.l.a@gmail.com, and pa.gboola@gmail.com are treated as the same. This means adding dots (.) anywhere in a Gmail username will still deliver the email. Additionally, Gmail ignores anything after a plus sign. For instance, emails sent to pagboola+twitter@gmail.com and pagboola+instagram@gmail.com will go to pagboola@gmail.com.
