The opposite side of your winning trade. If the model balances, enough errors were made to offset.

It’s perfectly fine to be a greedy VC. This is America. But understand China is the enemy. And if you’re on the wrong side of national security the people won’t forget. You should be encouraging American OSS while advocating we nuke the Chinese AI industry. That is both patriotic and in your interest. Wake the fuck up. This is not 2016, we are at war.
DRYDEN@drydenwtbrown

China's anti-American open source dumping strategy is brilliant from a PR perspective. They knew greedy VCs (who want to pump OS, inference, deployco, and rollup bets) and open source ideologues would run cover for them.

@TMTLongShort Moronic / asinine. Republican think tanks even are stating house is “gone” senate is in bad shape today but will comfortably fall R after partisan race tightening closer to midterms

Your occasional reminder that republicans will sweep the midterms. Polymarket is wrong and most importantly consumer sentiment polling is broken. I was clear on my view six months ago, I’m being clear now, and I will not delete tweets. Republican. Sweep. House and Senate.

@wasphyxiation I'm assuming there's no legal way for Tom Steyer to just write him a $20M check. Would have been a different calculation in that case, but I agree. Even if he sticks around and fails, he can wiggle his way into being a hero of the dirtbag left.

I’d buy Platner stays in at 2% He’s downwardly mobile and his career is over. Choosing between a 100% chance your Wikipedia article “Graham Platner is a failed political candidate and rapist” and a 1% chance of “Graham Platner is a US senator and rapist” what would you choose
James Miller@JimDMiller

Disgraced Senate candidate Graham Platner’s smartest move is to stay in the race. Prediction markets give him a 98% chance of quitting, which means “not quitting” could pay him 50-1.

@GWHayduke97 Like his career beyond selling oysters to his mom is over. He may not be able to get a job at Target in 30 years because anyone who Googles his name will see this.

@DustinGouker @PlayProphetX You inspired me to experiment with prediction markets… ProphetX apparently does not pay out 2way MLs and resolves as draw, even if Egypt beats AUS in PKs Something to me indicates that contracts tied to “winning event” involves OTs

@distressedbets @CuiBonoCapital It’s pretty easy to see: he throws huge parties with quid pro quo, if you speak out against fanatics or don’t kiss ring you’re temporarily cut from circle

DC rich vs NYC rich: DC rich: - Family lake house - Dad’s a partner at law firm - Economy plus - Summer internship through your parents - One Rolex for graduation - Membership at the Metropolitan Club - “We know the ambassador” NYC rich: - Family compound in East Hampton - Dad runs a hedge fund - PJ to the Hamptons - Loro Piana personality - Summer internship through your family’s office - One Patek because you already have three Rolex’s

@ReadFuturist It’s partially framework: if we can be worth (%) of Cerebras, that is a $25-50B aspirational valuation bogey vs selling today. 🤷‍♂️

@proforma_addbck They should just do a SPAC and benefit from the euphoria of the moment. The valuation of Cerebras makes no sense to me.

There's about a 60 to 70% chance that Qualcomm acquires Tenstorrent. They make an inference AI chip product not unlike Cerebras. Tenstorrent uses a flexible, disaggregated system built on custom RISC-V cores and chiplets. I think they're worth at least $10 billion in this market. It seems like they prefer the exit versus going public. $CBRS Fairly legit, Tenstorrent builds processors using open-source RISC-V technology and are a unique AI chip asset that has synergies with data centers and especially faster inference.

@proforma_addbck I was under the assumption that it was Intel vs. Qualcomm for the exit leading to Q. But now, I'm not so sure.

Qualcomm paying up to $10B for Tenstorrent is a bet on RISC-V cracking Nvidia's CUDA lock-in. The moat was never the silicon—it's the software nobody wants to rewrite. Jim Keller knows it. ⚙️ crescendo.ai/news/latest-ai…

Qualcomm is reportedly in discussions to acquire AI inference and compiler startup Modular for $4 billion, a roughly 150% premium over the startup’s $1.6 billion valuation from nine months ago. $QCOM $NVDA $AMD

Qualcomm in talks to acquire Tenstorrent for $8-10 billion, moving beyond mobile into AI data center silicon. Open RISC-V architecture, Jim Keller behind it. If this closes it creates a genuine third player in AI inference chips.
