I'll add to this and take it even one step further. I literally don't even care if $XRP holders are being taken advantage of by Ripple. I just want them to understand that they are so that they can at least understand what they are signing up for. Every day $XRP social media slop merchants tell me that XRP holders clearly understand that they have no exposure to Ripple Labs (RLUSD, money transmitter licenses, corporate acquisitions, Ripple is a bank) by owning XRP, and then every week Garlinghouse tweets out that "XRP is Ripple's North star" or "XRP is at the center of everything Ripple does."

No. LINK is the "equity" of Chainlink's value creation. 1. All employees get LINK tokens; not CLL equity. To rug LINK means rugging the very team building the protocol itself. 2. Google "Uniswap Labs stock price." You'll get a price and a chart. Google "Ripple Labs stock price." You'll get a price and a chart. Google "Chainlink Labs stock price." You won't find anything other than discussion of LINK token.

There is no equity in Chainlink Labs, the only way to get exposure to the network is via Link, your question of "are CRE services paid with the Link token" has nothing to do with that. Chainlink are buying back the token with excess revenue, Revenue is generated via CRA. While SVR is systematically swapped into Link via the abstraction layer.
