The measures also include requiring pet stores to offer space to local shelters to adoption BEFORE space for puppy mills, and a new hotline to report animal abuse from breeders. "Ethical dog breeding practices" will be established statewide. "We'll have additional legislation that provides for increased penalties for individuals who abuse or torture animals in front of a minor, which can very much scar the minor and potentially cause harm going forward for them." A little different today. Maybe someone can help… We’ve been trying to open a bank account with @LloydsBank for UK charity (Happy Doggo) for 5 months now. Replies are taking 1 month from them. Customer service ignoring us for weeks on end. We really need this account to help save 1000s of dogs lives as we scale up. I don’t want to seem annoying moaning online but if anyone… 1. From @LloydsBank reads this it would help us a lot if you could reply 2. Maybe someone who follows works there or knows someone who does? 3. If all else fails maybe there is another UK bank who deals with charities who wants our business.
