I took the M60 Bus from Harlem 125th to LGA Airport on Friday As the bus pulls up you have a group of NYPD and MTA Police officers watching every person who enter and exits the bus Anyone who doesn’t tap get scolded HARD The lady cop was so nasty and told this guy to “Get your mother fuc*king ass off this bus, you didn’t tap” The dude says “I paid, I paid” Holding up the entire bus The cop says “This mother fuc*king bus isn’t moving unless you show me on your phone that you paid” The dude couldn’t produce a notification on his phone that he paid, so he goes over to tap his phone and pay. Lady cop was not having it and pulled him off the bus and makes him wait for the next bus LOL 😆 As we pull into the next stop E 125th & Lex - same thing, 4-5 cops dedicated to making sure every single person pays the fare Next stop E 125th & 2nd same thing cops everywhere babysitting people making sure they pay On one hand, this is fantastic that the mayor is doing something about their evasion On the other hand, it’s sad that we live in such a low trust society that we have to make police officers babysit the public to pay $2.75 for the bus Under Zohran Mamdani there are no free busses 🚌 TRUST ME You will pay your fare or cops will drag you off the bus Thank you Zohran!
