🔔 The Future of Mental Health Centers in Poland – Key Decisions for the Psychiatric Care System On October 25, the “Six Years Passed Like…” conference in Mikołajki brought together experts, government officials, and stakeholders in Poland's National Mental Health Program. The main goal was to evaluate the outcomes of the Mental Health Centers (CZP) pilot program and to outline future directions for systemic integration. During the conference, detailed pilot evaluation results were presented, alongside recommendations for implementing systemic improvements in mental health care. Panel discussions and workshops focused on celebrating achievements and exploring solutions to challenges faced by the CZP, aiming to ensure sustainable and comprehensive mental health development in Poland. A central element was the proposal for a shared values declaration to guide the mission of accessible, modern, and evidence-based CZP. Głównym celem konferencji było podsumowanie wyników pilotażu Centrów Zdrowia Psychicznego oraz nakreślenie kierunków rozwoju tego modelu. Podczas konferencji zaprezentowano szczegółowe wyniki ewaluacji pilotażu CZP oraz przedstawiono rekomendacje dotyczące wdrożenia systemowych zmian w opiece psychiatrycznej. Celem dyskusji i warsztatów było nie tylko omówienie dotychczasowych sukcesów, ale także analiza wyzwań, jakie napotkały CZP, oraz poszukiwanie rozwiązań zapewniających kompleksowy rozwój opieki psychicznej w Polsce. Istotnym elementem spotkania była propozycja wypracowania wspólnej deklaracji wartości, która odzwierciedlałaby misję CZP jako wartości publicznej, dostępnej i zgodnej z aktualną wiedzą medyczną. Szpital Psychiatryczny we Fromborku reprezentowali Dyrektor Mirosław Kochańki oraz Dyrektor ds. technicznych Marcin Kurowski, którzy wnieśli cenny wkład w dyskusję na temat konieczności zapewnienia trwałości i rozwoju CZP.
