I’ve been teaching for 20 years. Every school I’ve been in has had a lockdown policy. It’s standard practice. It covers all sorts of things from intruders, local factory leaks/spills, threats, animals on site, advice from local authorities. Every school should have one and it’s been part of health and safety checks for years and years. Stop the nonsense.
