That phenomenal story of sportsmanship when Nari Contractor got hit on the head by a bouncer from Charlie Griffith is actually a legend. The West Indies captain, Frank Worrell was the first to donate blood to him along with Chandu Borde, Bapu Nadkarni and Polly Umrigar.
While Contractor survived, his Test career ended at 28. Worrell’s action set a lasting example of friendship beyond the field. Frank Worrell unfortunately passed away due to cancer in 1968. The Cricket Association of Bengal (CAB) observes February 3rd as "Sir Frank Worrell Day" to honour his life-saving act. And Nari Contractor used to be the first to donate blood on that day.

I was alerted to the issue of poor food quality in a government school. We have acted immediately. A 3-member committee was formed, and based on their report, the food agency has been replaced, and subsequently the headmaster has been suspended. We are strengthening oversight and adding better parent feedback through the LEAP app so such problems are flagged instantly. My sincere apologies to the children and parents. Our students deserve good quality care in govt schools, and we will ensure they receive it.

A true story from my hometown!
In 1990, my uncle bought 4 acres of land for 15,000 per acre.
Total investment: 60,000.
The town developed over the years. and now even a district.
Now, DMart bought 2 acres of that land from him for 25 crores.
He has now put the 25 crores in a fixed deposit, and he gets 14.5 lakh per month in interest.
Sometimes the biggest wealth comes from simply holding the right asset for decades.
