Zoru bhai .. both lines will run separately, once fully open Line 7 - Bhayander to CSMIA Line 2 - Dahisar East to Mankhurd (via BKC)

Mumbai Metro line 2 and 9 opening had been officially announced by Maharashtra Transport minister on 6th April 2026, final Pre revenue services Testing are been carried out currently on both lines before official Inauguration, trains currently manned, but on auto mode operations.

But in October 2025 ENEOS halted the CO₂ based program entirely due to costs being too high and shifted focus to biofuels instead. The breaking news! framing is recycled from 2024 when the demo plant first opened. The project is currently paused, not scaling. The science works. The economics don't.
