@SubtleBeats @ZacGoldsmith Not "condemning" others. Pointing out their actions are suspicious or stupid in terms of gaining support. And then there's this. The UK *is* doing something; greenhouse gas emissions are way down. 50% in absolute terms since 1990. Considerably more than 50% per capita.

You go and do your thing to deal with climate change (obviously without disrupting anyone or anything, breaking any laws, rules, or norms, and entirely within the current political system's Overton window), then critique after.

These people are going out of their way to halt what has been a growing momentum to tackle climate change. They may as well buy a mountain of coal and set fire to it. How can anyone be so stupid?

Raising the question, what does our trade picture look like if you EXCLUDE gold. Are we still in fourth place? In short: no. Look, ex gold, our ranking would have been 6th last year. Not 4th. In fact we wouldn't have hit 6th since 2015. Which is consistent with other datapoints.

@London_Discuss Don't know, but it was proper obsessive about it. Pick her up to get her out of the way of the dog, move her down the end of the garden complete with compost heaps, nice dark places, a wildlife pond and gaps to 2 other gardens - and an hour later she's back. In daylight.
