Also: I think Notre Dame can win the title, but if I were them I’d be nervous.
BYU wins and they would likely bump the Irish (seems like Texas Tech is a lock).
BYU loses and Miami is right behind the ND with a win over the Irish.

Moving Alabama ahead of Notre Dame makes sense because Texas A&M lost (impacting ND).
The explanation that Alabama had a good first half and later made a gutsy call to beat Auburn does not.
