@Parapolity We can block all three simultaneously.

The conduct of institutions that are meant to uphold democracy and constitutional neutrality has raised serious concerns. @ECISVEEP central agencies such as the Enforcement Directorate, and even the office of the Governor of West Bengal appear to be acting in ways that disproportionately benefit the @BJP4India At the centre of these actions is @AmitShah who, despite holding the crucial responsibility of Union Home Minister, is allegedly enabling a pattern of political intimidation and misuse of power that undermines democratic values. Such actions reflect an alarming culture of coercion rather than fair governance. It is evident that the BJP is deeply threatened by the unwavering leadership and mass support of @MamataOfficial. The fact that so many institutions are being weaponised against a single leader only exposes their political insecurity. What is even more concerning is the selective silence of the @ECISVEEP when complaints are lodged against the BJP, while false allegations are allegedly used to harass workers of the All India Trinamool Congress, with reports of intimidation through police summons and undue pressure. However, the people are watching. Democracy ultimately rests in the hands of the voters, and the public will deliver a strong and decisive response through their vote.

The “opportunity costs” of complying must also be calculated — had India continued to buy discounted sweeter Iranian crude or Venezuelan oil from 2019-25, as it did with Russian oil (2022-25), the government could have saved billions, and built strategic energy reserves (as China has) that would have been useful today. Had India not complied with sanctions against the Chabahar port, built rail and road infrastructure in Iran, and not curtailed its plans for the International North South Transport Corridor (INSTC) through Iran’s Bandar Abbas, it may have had connectivity in place that could have reduced its dependence on imports coming through the Strait of Hormuz today. Moreover, India’s compliance with U.S. international sanctions has further weakened the rules-based international order and the UN’s multilateral mandate.
