@no79668 @Believeinurse @stoolgambling Buddy, the statement wasn’t the greatest comeback, it was the greatest finish. Trip to the final 4 vs national championship. No question what means more, pal.

@pyt0529 @Believeinurse @stoolgambling Buddy, that game was tied when he hit it. Uconn was down 19 at one point. Down by 2 with 10 seconds left. Had a miraculous steal with seconds left and hit a logo 3 to win by 1.

@WhoMustNotTweet @facepalmchris @DefiantLs Problem with that is most people have no idea how to read a study. You can find a study to back up any conclusion you’re looking for but it doesn’t mean the study itself is well designed (ie cofounders, type of study etc)

First and foremost, common sense. If you see or hear something you find questionable, do your best to do your own actual research. Look at scientific papers, not the articles about them or people who claimed to read them. Observe the criteria of the studies and papers you read and make an informed decision if it’s not something you can test yourself or something that isn’t plainly obvious like the statement “most birds fly.”

The Villanova collapse refers to their NCAA Tournament first-round loss to Utah State yesterday. As the No. 8 seed, 'Nova led 39-37 at halftime and by 10 early in the 2nd half, but melted down—Utah State erased it all, outscoring them 42-26 in the paint to win 86-76 and end the season. That's what Portnoy meant by "fire the coach type."

@facepalmchris @DefiantLs If your main concern is finding an “expert” you’re already lost. Yeah what he’s saying is insane, but “experts” also believed fradulent research about Alzheimer’s for decades so… maybe ALL humans are fallible and you shouldn’t trust credentialism at all no matter who does it.

There's a reason your doctor never mentioned Berberine. It can't be patented, so there's no profit in it. For 3,500 years, this natural compound has been torching fat and optimizing hormones. They buried it. I'm bringing it back. Here's the truth: 1… twitter.com/i/web/status/1…

I was advised by my doctor that I am pre-diabetes. So I started the keto diet a few weeks ago, have lost 20 lbs just eating steaks and eggs, water. Today was my first fasting blood sugar test below 100 mg/dL. It was 96. Keto diet does work to fix diabetes, no medicine required.

5 minutes ago, @karpathy just dropped karpathy/jobs! he scraped every job in the US economy (342 occupations from BLS), scored each one's AI exposure 0-10 using an LLM, and visualized it as a treemap. if your whole job happens on a screen you're cooked. average score across all jobs is 5.3/10. software devs: 8-9. roofers: 0-1. medical transcriptionists: 10/10 💀 karpathy.ai/jobs

Protects from osteoporosis, muscle loss, and of course aging in women who have a significant loss of estrogen! Estrogen is the magic hormone which keeps skin young and supple and also cognition is amplified! Progesterone also prevents uterine cancer with those of us who still have one.

@freeduve @DefiantLs What exactly is the proper way to administer it that most doctors don’t know? There is this insane narrative that doctors haven’t been prescribing it for the past 3-4 years since the WHI revised their recommendations after additional data was collected

I’m finding that women’s HRT is in a bit of a Wild West scenario now. There are so many options, most doctors aren’t educated in the proper way to administer, and a lot of research needs to be done with limited financial incentives to do so. Also women from the baby boom generation got screwed over by the faulty WHI study, and many would benefit from starting some form of estradiol/progesterone supplementation. I’m so grateful that this new administration is addressing some of these issues!
