I don’t know who needs to hear this, but stop falling for the ‘Made in India’ iPhone hype. 🙄 Literally 80-90% of the actual tech—the chips, the displays, the sensors—is still coming straight from China. We’re basically just a glorified assembly line providing cheap labor while the govt hand outs massive PLI subsidies to trillion-dollar companies. Assembling a phone isn’t 'innovation.' We aren’t becoming a tech superpower by being a screwdriver economy. Wake up. 📱📉 #iPhone #MadeInIndia #Economy #RealityCheck

@rishabhm Once your I140 was approved H1B was not really temporary visa. And pre-2023 finding new job after layoff was also relatively easy.

@priyankac19 @orfonline If you think carefully we got most of our Tech from either Russia or Japan. We never got any Tech from the West. It’s natural for people to trust Russia and Japan more.

Interesting key finding in @orfonline ’s Foreign Policy Survey 2025: Young India and The Middle East. They are betting on Russia&Japan as most trusted partners, there is a declining support for the US, young continue to be committed to multilateralism, feel a stronger UAE - India bilateral will spell growth, and China-Pak India’s biggest challenge.

How long Indians are going to run away from problems at home? Some generation has to fix them. I wish people participate more in local level politics and form new parties rather than fighting national elections. Citizens QoL can be positively impacted by improvement in municipal governance rather than being an MP.

This sounds patriotic & appealing in theory, but is India actually ready for it? I can't speak for every metro city, but I can certainly speak for Pune. Our basic infrastructure is struggling to keep up with reality. Public transport isn't expanding at the pace the city's population is growing. The Metro is moving forward, but painfully slowly. The traffic situation is already in shambles. 10 or 15 yrs ago, I genuinely believed Pune could become a great city for Indians returning from the US or UK to settle down in. Today I don’t have that optimism. The apathy shown towards Pune by those in power has steadily eroded that confidence. Before we dream of reverse migration on a large scale, we need cities that can actually support the people already living in them.

Once again, my appeal to Indians in America on a visa. Please come home. Even if you feel it is hardship and sacrifice, self-respect should dictate your course. Let's make Bharat proud 🙏

most Americans do not support this. when Dems regain power they should focus on the most popular immigrants -- educated legal ones -- instead of on amnesty for illegal immigrants so that we can regain and keep the public's trust on this issue
Homeland Security@DHSgov

An alien who is in the U.S. temporarily and wants a Green Card must return to their home country to apply. This policy allows our immigration system to function as the law intended instead of incentivizing loopholes. The era of abusing our nation’s immigration system is over.

A lot of fear and misinformation about this - but it doesn’t apply for dual intent visas like H1s and O1s so most skilled immigrants are not affected However spouses and family members of US citizens will be affected which is a big deal

So much confusion with the recent announcement of USCIS Lots of FUD as well, so wanted to address them in the context of EB5 ( we have been in calls with multiple law partners all morning) 1/ Is EB5- EAD valid- Yes, RIA ( Reforms and integrity act) has spcific provisions for AOS - This announcement seems to be at cross with RIA provisions and most likely be litigated 2/ What is under attack- Some folks tried to do AOS under non dual intent visa (for eg B1, B2)- Those are not happening any more 3/ H1B is a DUAL intent visa- so in our view H1B-EAD should hold 4/ F1-EAD ( students who are doing EB5)- thats a grey area, waiting for clarity to emerge TLDR- Though controversial from headlines, this is as bad sounding as DJT taking away Birth Right Citizenship through the EO ( any one rememeber that)- Birth right citizenship is still legit and works There is billons of $ at stake both from EB5 and for non EB5- ( pending EAD for EB2 etc)- not so easy to do drastic changes like these with the stroke of a pen It adds to uncertainity, but this too shall pass like Birth Right citizenship fiasco

@DJ_CURFEW At what point policy markers are going to panic of economic depression? If every company cuts 20% employees then there won’t be consumer demand. And without consumer demand large chunk of GDP can disappear.

Today we reduced headcount by 22%. The business is the strongest it's ever been. So I think it's important to be direct about what I'm seeing and why. First, I made this decision and I own it. I did it because the way to operate at the highest level of productivity is changing, and to win the future, ClickUp needs to change with it. Second, this wasn't about cutting costs. Most savings from this change will flow directly back into the people who stay. We'll be introducing million-dollar salary bands. If you create outsized impact using AI, you'll be paid outside of traditional bands. Most importantly, I have the deepest gratitude for those affected. We're doing this from a position of strength specifically so we can take care of people properly. Everyone affected receives a package aimed at honoring their contributions and easing the transition. I only see two options: wait for this to play out gradually in the market or be honest about what I'm seeing and act proactively. THE 100X ORGANIZATION The primary change is that we're restructuring around what I call 100x org. The goal is 100x output. The roles required to build at the highest level are fundamentally different than they were a year ago. Incremental improvements to existing systems won't get us there. We need new ones. That means creating enough disruption to rebuild rather than iterate on what's already broken. The common narrative is that AI makes everyone more productive. It doesn't. Many of the workflows of today, if left unchanged, create bottlenecks in AI systems. These roles will evolve. But waiting for that to happen naturally means falling behind now. The 100x org is actually heavily dependent on people - infinitely more than today. This is only possible with 10x people that have embraced and adopted new ways of working. THE BUILDERS, AGENT MANAGERS, AND FRONT-LINERS — THE BUILDERS: 10X ENGINEERS I don't think most companies have internalized what's actually happening with AI in engineering. The common narrative is that AI makes all engineers more productive. That may be true in isolation, but at an organization level - that is the farthest thing from reality. Here's what we've validated recently at ClickUp: the great engineers, the ones who can orchestrate, architect, and review, are becoming 100x engineers. They're not writing code. They're directing agents that write code. The skill is judgment. AI makes the best engineers wildly more productive, and everyone else using AI slows these engineers down. Think about it - the bottlenecks are (1) orchestration - telling AI what to do, and (2) reviewing - what AI did. Everything is leapfrogged and no longer needed. So who do you want orchestrating and reviewing code? And how do you want your best engineers to spend their time? If your best engineers are spending time reviewing other people's code, then this is inherently an inefficient bottleneck. These engineers can review their agent's code much faster than reviewing human code. The new world is about enabling your 10x engineers to become 100x. The wrong strategy is to push every engineer to use infinite tokens. Companies doing this are celebrating 500% more pull requests. But customer outcomes don't match the volume of code being generated. I call this the great reckoning of AI coding, and every company will face this soon if not already. More code is just another bottleneck to the best engineers, and ultimately to your company's impact as well. — THE BUILDERS: 10X PRODUCT MANAGERS Product management and design roles are merging. Designers that have customer focus, become more like product managers. And product managers that have intuition for UX become more like designers. The bottleneck of user research is gone. It takes us just one mention of an agent to kickoff research and analyze results. The bottleneck of product <> design iteration is also gone. The product builder iterates on their own, along with agents and skills that ensure alignment with quality and strategy. Also controversial today - I believe that the wrong strategy is to have your PMs shipping code - that just introduces another bottleneck that the best engineers will waste their time on. To be clear, PMs should be coding but they should do this in a playground to iterate, validate, and scope. That code should not go to production. Everything outside of managing systems, orchestrating AI, and reviewing output becomes a bottleneck. That's why the other roles that are critical along with these are the systems managers (to reduce bottlenecks) along with a bottleneck you can't replace - customer meeting time. — THE SYSTEM MANAGERS Ironically, the people that automate their jobs with AI will always have a job. They become owners of the AI systems - agent managers. We have many examples of these people at ClickUp. The underlying systems in which we operate are absolutely critical to get right. I think most companies are delusional to think they can iterate on existing systems and compete in this new world. You must create enough disruption so that old systems are deprecated entirely. If there's any definition for 'AI native' that's what it is. — THE FRONT-LINERS In a world that will become saturated with AI communication, the human touch will matter more than anything to customers. This is a bottleneck that you shouldn't replace - even when agents are high enough quality to do video meetings. One-on-one meeting time with customers is something that shouldn't be automated. The systems around the meetings should be - so that front-liners spend nearly 100% of their time with customers. REWARDING 100X IMPACT In a world where companies are able to do so much more with less, where does that excess money go? In our case, much of the savings in this new operating model will flow directly back to those that enabled it. We must reward people that create productivity accordingly. This aligns incentives on both sides. Plus, in a world where your best people create 100x impact, you can't afford to lose them. You should aim to retain these employees for decades. The context they have and their ability to efficiently orchestrate and review will be nearly impossible to replace. Compensation bands of today should be thrown out the door. We're introducing $1 million cash/year salary bands with a path available to nearly everyone in the company if they produce 100x impact by creating or managing AI systems. THE FUTURE Nearly every company will make changes like these. The ones that do it proactively will define what comes next. The future is not fewer people. It's different work, new roles, and better rewards for those who embrace it. We're already seeing entirely new roles emerge, like Agent Managers, that didn't exist a year ago. ClickUp is positioning to lead this shift, not just internally, but for our customers too. I've never been more certain about where we're headed.

@Rezang_La Don’t be surprised if Rupee appreciates in next 9 months and its back to high 80s or below 92. This exact scenario played out in 2012-13. Rupee touched 70 and the back to 59-62 range.

@TheNavroopSingh Stupidest of the lot is Infosys. They did $2.5 billion Stock buyback last year. They could’ve burned same money on Sarvam AI or maybe spent internally to build an LLM. There’s enough opensource research available to build 2nd tier LLM.

@TheNavroopSingh Its a pity that pvt capex in india never took place despite huge public spending by govt and Tax sops to the market. Its time to go back to Socialist mode, there is lot of pain in the grass root. Indian capitalist cannot be trusted to drive the economy.

If CJP wants change then his founder should be in India hitting the streets and trying to win elections. Unless and until he does that, he’s simply some puppet for foreign power. Also, if a person is trying to challenge the sovereignty of the nation then that person will be deplatformed. US which is the paragon of Freedom of Speech has deplatformed sitting POTUS in 2021.

Do you memory of starfish? Or you want to cling-on to any anti-Modi stuff? BJP and Modi just won the toughest state in India just 3 weeks ago with 2/3rd majority. Reel and Real life are different. If they want to change the India they can’t do it by siting in Germany, Ireland or USA. Ask them to hit the ground.

Those who were active then have seen how Social media anger against UPA 2 helped and pushed Modi to become PM in 2014. And how Rahul Gandhi jokes after Arnab interview made his image as dumb and clueless man that he took atleast 10 years to recover from that. It's stupid to ignore the recent surge in popularity of pages like Cockroach Janta party that has gained 11M followers in a week by doing nothing. If Social media mainly Facebook and Twitter could make an Impact 15 years back then Social media with much more presence today can make atleast 15x more impact. Yes yes, you can continue believing that those followers are not indians or real people. It's your call.

This Norwegian journalist Helle Lyng, who asked a scripted question to PM Narendra Modi, went from 500 followers to 75k followers in just 2 days, and most of her followers are Indians and Pakistanis. Meanwhile, I have been running my Twitter/X handle for 7 years. I have been raising my voice for Hindu Dharma day and night, yet I still have only 46k followers after 7 years. Every day I counter anti-Hindu narratives spread by Indian liberals and Islamist Pakistanis, yet Hindus still do not follow me. I have even received multiple police notices and court notices for speaking in support of Hindus. Still, I have only 46k followers. If that anti-India journalist Helle Lyng can get 75k Indian and Pakistani followers in just 2 days, then why are nationalist Hindus not following me? Can I get more followers than that Norwegian journalist in the next 2 days with the support of Hindus? Hindus, please show your magic and follow me 🙏

So in this entire article he has pointed out only 2 reforms QCOs and Arbitratiin. Maybe he should’ve pointed out more ideas. Honestly, India’s problem may not be FDI, India was ranked 2nd in FDI inflows in 2025 in emerging markets. Our big problem is FIIs leaving and honestly no govt reform will stop that bleeding because AI infra trade is so attractive right now around the world. Just look at the rally in Sandisk, Micron, AMD, etc. Most of the FIIs rerouting into these stocks. And now soon SpaceX and OpenAI are going to go public. FIIs will leave for these opportunities and no one can stop it.
