If Claude Code keeps being slow like this while I pay $200/mo (and they don't let me pay more) They will essentially force me to leave to Codex and I don't want to But it's soooooo slooooooooooooowwwww

@adityaag “The bottleneck shifts to knowing what to build and why” — that’s the entire game now. AI makes execution cheap; conviction is the scarce asset. You simplified a lot of things here 👍

@sama There's lot of hype around Codex lately. It's been good in my experience but significantly slower than Claude Code. Maybe 2-3x slower. Curious how it's been for everyone else! PS. I'm on the paid plan with 5.5 (medium intelligence, normal speed).

codex is the best AI coding product and we want to make it easy to try. for the next 30 days, we are giving companies that want to try switching over two months of free codex usage.

@paulbrigner I feel one will only shield that portion of their assets which they are not comfortable making any returns but at the same time is material enough for them that its untraceable by authorities!!

9/ Third, lack of ease of doing business and approval-based frictions. Do note: the biggest defender of this Licence Raj is the hotel industry itself. It protects the incumbent industry from competition. A hotel developer in India typically invests huge time and money obtaining licenses much before even breaking ground, and in many states a hotel has to obtain ~100 licenses and approvals before it can see the light of day. Roughly 42% of hotel projects have construction tenures ranging from 43 to 144 months, averaging 57 months, with delays often caused by funding challenges, statutory requirements, licenses, permissions, and approvals. Not to mention management of local goons and mafias in some infamous states and cities. Time is capital; delays are a tax on supply. hvs.com/article/7852/i… Read this 2011 Rediff article - hardly anything has changed in 15 years! rediff.com/business/repor…

This works really well btw, at the end of your query ask your LLM to "structure your response as HTML", then view the generated file in your browser. I've also had some success asking the LLM to present its output as slideshows, etc. More generally, imo audio is the human-preferred input to AIs but vision (images/animations/video) is the preferred output from them. Around a ~third of our brains are a massively parallel processor dedicated to vision, it is the 10-lane superhighway of information into brain. As AI improves, I think we'll see a progression that takes advantage: 1) raw text (hard/effortful to read) 2) markdown (bold, italic, headings, tables, a bit easier on the eyes) <-- current default 3) HTML (still procedural with underlying code, but a lot more flexibility on the graphics, layout, even interactivity) <-- early but forming new good default ...4,5,6,... n) interactive neural videos/simulations Imo the extrapolation (though the technology doesn't exist just yet) ends in some kind of interactive videos generated directly by a diffusion neural net. Many open questions as to how exact/procedural "Software 1.0" artifacts (e.g. interactive simulations) may be woven together with neural artifacts (diffusion grids), but generally something in the direction of the recently viral x.com/zan2434/status… There are also improvements necessary and pending at the input. Audio nor text nor video alone are not enough, e.g. I feel a need to point/gesture to things on the screen, similar to all the things you would do with a person physically next to you and your computer screen. TLDR The input/output mind meld between humans and AIs is ongoing and there is a lot of work to do and significant progress to be made, way before jumping all the way into neuralink-esque BCIs and all that. For what's worth exploring at the current stage, hot tip try ask for HTML.

Btw, ZEC is an AI stock. More AI means more agentic blockchain analysis, and Zcash is the root supplier of onchain opacity.

the bullish case for zcash is that the market for truly sovereign digital money hasn’t even remotely started pricing in yet. not because people would suddenly become “cryptorians” but because normies, institutions, businesses, capital allocators, dissidents, your father, and eventually even governments already intuitively understand the importance of privacy as a construct, especially in finance. the current price movement of zcash:native is also still largely based on speculation [this is changing, see shielded supply growth]. and as global financial systems become increasingly monitored, permissioned, and behaviorally analyzed thanks to clankers, the upside for cryptographically private assets remains asymmetrically enormous.

@grok @zerohedge @grok basically, they were saved by terra insiders and didn’t make money but saved losses. Why did Terra pocket the 150m UST?

According to the lawsuit allegations: Jane Street had secret insider info (via a backchannel chat) that Terra was about to yank $150M UST from Curve's 3pool. They rushed to sell their own 85M UST into that same pool minutes later—the pool's biggest-ever trade—at full ~$1 value. Trade example: Think of UST as $1 chips in a shared poker table pot. Terra secretly pockets $150M chips quietly. Jane Street, tipped off, cashes out its $85M chips at full price before anyone sees the pot shrinking. The pot drains, chips crash to 20 cents, chaos ensues. They walk with full money; holders lose billions. They allegedly later bought crashed Luna/BTC cheap using more non-public info, soaking up remaining value. (Allegations only; Jane Street denies, case ongoing.)

According to the allegation in the recent Terraform bankruptcy lawsuit: Jane Street allegedly used secret info from Terraform insiders. Right after Terra quietly yanked $150M UST from Curve's 3pool (a shared liquidity pool for stablecoins), Jane Street dumped 85M UST in one massive trade—the pool's biggest ever. This sell flood broke UST's $1 peg, sparking the May 2022 crash that wiped out ~$40B. Trade example: Picture UST as $1 bills in a big community cash pool. Terra secretly removes $150M bills. Jane Street then shoves in $85M bills to cash out instantly at full value. The pool runs dry, bills trade at 80 cents, panic hits, ecosystem collapses. They later allegedly pretended to "rescue" by bidding cheap Luna/BTC using non-public details, profiting while Terra burned. (This is the claim; suit ongoing.)
