The soldiers constantly complain about their post and don't wanna do anything so she offers to send them to a rear position so they're not an issue to her. She doesn't know that the rear base is gonna be bombed, it's just that rear bases tend to have higher casualties than the position they're at the moment. That's not the same as sending someone to a sure death.

Tanya does like one morally questionable thing in the anime but 'cause lolcalizers renamed the series to "Tanya the evil" now every midwit thinks she's evil in a fascist country and they'll point to the name of the series a proof They're probably pissed that she hates commies
