I get 4,150,000,000 (4 billion) requests and 300,000,000 (300 million) visitors per year That'd cost me $338,913 if I wasn't on a VPS like @brian_lovin below Instead I pay $2,932/year or 115x less because I host my sites on my own VPS My VPS servers are way too big and usually only use 10% of their resources so I could even go with $300/year probably if I optimized more (but I don't care) Especially with AI these days it's easier than ever to host your sites yourself, and way cheaper! 100-1000x cheaper!

Yes but a couple things. - they’re not after average consumers (ex: my mom), specifically building for businesses, entrepreneurs and devs. - there’s also gonna be no learning curves, you’ll continue to have the same prompts and conversations with it except it’ll start giving you better results as it’s growing. But it is sad seeing major companies stock prices drop significantly after each new feature:(

Claude feels like they’re trying to be the everything tool. I don’t think your average consumer will adopt it. Too much of a learning curve. Niche applications (Lovable, Canva, etc) have stronger brand affinity.
