@ScottThompson_ @Glinner Wow, don’t come back and read at Poetry Open Mic again. Our trans siblings are precious to us, and you’re not. Idiot! Don’t you see that anti-trans is a gateway to the repeal of all queer rights? To calls for violence against us all?

@evelinelefebre @meganysta @torontolibrary Hi, shut up with your callous and uninformed opinions. Children get lost and we as a society need to be prepared to step in. Including the library. Get a grip, blue check. Society does exist despite what your Musky boss says.

My 11 year old got lost and asked for help at a library. They told her she couldn't call her mom from the phone and should use a payphone. She said she didn't know how. They said they couldn't help and she ended up crying alone on the street corner @torontolibrary

@NealShusterman I love how that book is structured in a way that deepens the themes. I also love Full Tilt’s exploration of suicidal feelings.

How the culture wars work: As this person cheers the ripping out of bike lanes and openly promises to run over cyclists, he responds to people’s objections by calling us “fags.” All of this conservative backlash is just toxic masculinity, just grown men acting like 13 year olds.

It's wild that Ford is spending Northern Ontarian's money to rip out bike lanes in Toronto.

The serious trauma patient was examined, bedside imaging done and accepted lights and sirens by the trauma hospital in about 15 minutes total. Canada's publicly funded healthcare system. Bruised, saveable, worth it.

The Conservatives have dropped a new 11-page amendment to Bill 212.
We'll be debating the amendment in committee this afternoon, and we're reviewing it now.
We think the amendment does the following; - - Doesn't require the government to pay all the city’s expenses to remove the bike lanes - Won’t reimburse municipalities for the cost of installing the lanes in the first place - Bans people from taking the Government to court for its decision to remove bike lanes, including any individuals who are injured or killed due to a collision between a bike and a vehicle - Approves the removal of the entirety of the Bloor St bike lane - Bans municipalities from installing a bike lane on any road or street, including side streets, without provincial approval if a lane of vehicle traffic is removed - Directs the provincial minister to remove the Bloor, Yonge and Avenue Road bike lanes themselves, without municipal action.   Would appreciate your take. #Onpoli

@JessicaBellTO Banning lawsuits when cyclists are injured or killed sounds like they expect cyclists will be injured and killed because of @fordnation's actions.

@gator_gum First time I remember seeing this in Canada was under Harper. So much messaging had to be routed through the PM’s office, effectively muffling MPs and civil servants alike.

I contemplated not sharing this, but I think it's important to understand the depths of depravity these people have reached. The victimization and comparisons to WW2 Germany are bordering on Holocaust minimization. This is disgusting.

@AlexanderPayton Nice, you’re seeking clicks and affirmation by celebrating one of the greatest enemies of queer people. “Mmm, yummy click dollars!”
