Our rigorous curriculum raised school standards & saw pupils soar up international league tables. Cuts to GCSE exams, focussing on climate change rather than reading & writing, & axeing the EBacc will see fewer pupils studying history & languages & will hide slipping standards.

A comparison of daily temperature anomalies during this Summer and 1976. It’s the much warmer daily minimum temperatures this year that have pushed the overall average up It’s also why personal memory is not a reliable measure. We remember the heatwaves not the cool nights.

My oven broke 💔 so whilst I sort out a replacement, I bought an air fryer. I just don’t get it. How do I know how to cook things? I don’t get the hype AT ALL* 😩😩😩😂 *apart from chips. It makes banging chips.

@rachbird75 if a train is cancelled/delayed, the same ticket can be used on the next available train at no extra cost with the same train operator. If the traveller abandons their trip or has to buy a new ticket, let us know and we can look into the refund.

@Strickomaster In Wales CfW has been long, a lot of work, my team has got smaller.... in Sept 25 - new GCSEs. Spec released at a different time to sample assessment materials, exams back into year 10, NEA from 20 to 40%. Now I can see Spec, I'm looking at my KS3 again....😢a LOT of work/stress

@theAliceRoberts I think students are thinking more about what they study, where and what it will lead to - I don't think that in general is a bad thing. Some of my brightest and most capable are choosing apprenticeship/year out instead of uni - but Mr Fararge? Well, I don't have polite words.
