Dear @SenSchumer After Parkland people told us over and over again, young people just need to vote that’s how you solve this. That’s exactly what we did. Gen Z has been voting at the highest rates in American history every election since 2018 AND last year voted +20 points for Dems. What’s crazy is people like you and many establishment Democrats still don’t think young people vote, that you can just not listen to us and young people will still vote for you. It’s a foolish mistake to take such a critical part of your base for granted. You stand to gain much more by brining an assault weapons ban to a vote over and over even if it doesn’t pass to show young voters and voters of all ages who’s fighting to protect kids and not guns. It’s not 1994 anymore. It’s much more dangerous to be weak on guns than it is to be strong.
