OL is tricky because you don’t want to take OL just to take OL. Like last year, I didn’t like the OL value in the 1st or 2nd so didn’t mind at all that those were DL picks. I also believe Puni was a great value pick in the 3rd and has been great based on the value of where he was selected. He can still improve but he is a legit starter in this league so that’s a hit. I have dreamed of a blue chip center in this offense that starts as a young pup and anchors the unit for 8+ years.

My perception of the 49ers is they are a team that typically drafts for need and I would like to see a deviation from that process Partly due to the fact that there are needs EVERYWHERE on the roster so I truly want the focus on taking the best play available regardless of position OL-DL-CB-S-WR-TE-LB-RB it literally doesn’t matter outside the QB position BPA

@ao_zan @gv49ers I agree, CTE may be playing a role here. We don't really know what kind of hits he took in earlier life football games like varsity and high school. CTE also doesn't require big hits; repeated small or “sub-concussive” hits ( years of repetitive micro trauma) is an issue.

@gv49ers It's clearly CTE. The problem is he never got whacked hard enough playing to incur CTE. He must've fallen off his roof installing Christmas lights or his wife bopped him with a frying pan for touching her butt or something.

I've always been a fan of Brandon Aiyuk and called out fellow 49er fans who went out of their way to bash him last year. Even this year when the story came out about his guarantees being voided I said there's blame on both sides. Upon further reflection...fuck Brandon Aiyuk. Whatever his reasons he quit on this team. A team which has been the antithesis of quitting. He quit on his teammates. Guys who have always had his back. Guys who are out there battling and in some cases suffering for it like Kittle. There's no doubt in my mind Aiyuk would give this team a much better chance to win the SB right now. Yet he's at home playing with his cars or whatever else. I don't know what happened to the man but sitting back and watching your teammates give their all with a chance at glory...FUCK YOU.
