Please help us bring attention to this. Overwatch’s ban and appeal system needs more transparency, not just for me, but for every player who could lose years of time, money, progress, and memories without receiving a clear explanation. My Overwatch account was permanently banned after a match was cancelled mid-game. My friend saw a “cheating detected” message, but the email I received referred generally to policies/conduct without clearly explaining the exact reason. I have never used cheats, did not throw or troll, and had voice/text chat disabled for weeks to avoid toxic interactions. I appealed twice, but the responses were still vague. How are players supposed to defend themselves without knowing exactly what they are accused of? this is why i say the WHOLE THING needs to be reworked. too many people are getting banned for practically nothing, and imo bans need to cap at a year, MAX. imo permabans are way too harsh of a punishment especially if you’ve spent tons and tons of money on this game. it’s practically robbery imo. and while we’re at it, go ahead and reverse the bans on EVERYONE banned for chat (at least) and let people weed themselves out again on a NEW system. and further, the system SHOULD NOT rely solely on ai and automated messages. if i submit an appeal for a suspension/ban, i expect to talk to a real person by AT LEAST the second attempt. not an endless stream of automated ai messages “disguised” as real people. @Blizzard_Ent @BlizzardCS

I have still had no luck with Blizzard CS. I have been banned without a proper explanation and all I get are automated responses. I have a lot of memories with Overwatch and I would hate to lose it, so I'd like to defend myself in this injustice. @PlayOverwatch @BlizzardCS

@Redmerison @BlizzardCSEU_EN @BlizzardCS No, their ban system lately has been through spam reports only without checking the account’s gameplay, so if you get reported by lets say 10-15 people, it’ll instantly get you banned even if you’re a mercy player, even if you play nothing but custom games.

Please make changes to the ban system @PlayOverwatch @Blizzard_Ent @BlizzardCS ! If something happens to our account we need to be able to get in contact with a HUMAN.

@BlizzardCS Can i get a real person to take a look at my ticket. I was randomly banned on my OW account Ive had for 10 YEARS. Ive tried to request multiple times for a human to manually view my games since im "cheating". I cant appeal anymore, My battle tag is lilkyebigrax#1552

We’re actually trying to gather everyone facing this issue in one place so our voices can reach Blizzard more clearly. If you’ve experienced a false permanent ban or any similar issue without a proper explanation, feel free to reply under the pinned post or make a post mentioning it. I’ll support it with reposts and likes so more people can see it and hopefully Blizzard support will notice. And if you know anyone else who went through the same thing, please ask them to share their experience too.

i've been seeing so many posts about people getting their accounts banned for no reason and now its happened to me. there's clearly a bug going around banning accounts for no reason can i have my account back please @BlizzardCSEU_EN @PlayOverwatch i would really appreciate help

i heard about a lot of people getting falsely banned on overwatch recently with no email or penalty showing up on their account while having connections to other platforms on their accounts. i thought surely it wouldn’t happen to me, but it did and it almost gave me a heart attack. but i was able to resolve it by removing the connections on my account, and it fixed instantly. this unfortunately means i no longer have xbox game pass connected to my account, so no more free skins 💔 but aside from that, this is a VERY serious issue that needs to be fixed ASAP (and if you ask me, the ENTIRE system needs to be reworked, the moderation system has been broken and problematic for years now)

@BlizzardCS Can please explain to how me how I'm banned for cheating with a 1.01 K/D and multiple purchases of the account? Please reverse this false ban, it would take 20 seconds of gameplay review to see I'm not cheating.😂

love that they just banning people to ban i dont hack i dont do anythging like that dpg shit game
