Retatrutide, Tesamorelin + IGF-1 LR3 changed way more than just my body composition. People only talk about the fat loss side of peptides, but not enough about inflammation, recovery, insulin sensitivity, and mental state. 205 → 170 across 2 cuts and a bulk Less body inflammation. Better recovery. Better insulin sensitivity. One thing I still deal with though is anhedonia. I don’t drink. I don’t smoke weed. But mentally feeling “flat” is a real thing for some people and it’s not talked about enough. Training stayed intense and consistent, so getting my macros in honestly was never a huge issue for me even on reta. Completely different physique now. Got into peptides over 3 years ago and haven’t looked back.

just finished my MOTS-c run after this bulk and since i need a break from it, i started running SS-31 while cutting. currently doing 2.5 mg and may work up to 5 mg over the next few weeks depending on recovery and energy output. honestly SS-31 might quietly be one of the most important peptides for long term health optimization. what makes it so interesting is that it directly targets mitochondrial health, which affects basically everything: energy recovery metabolism heart health brain function aging and cellular resilience at a foundational level the research around heart protection, kidney protection, liver support, and oxidative stress is honestly really interesting too. some studies have even looked at its potential role in reducing mitochondrial damage tied to aging and chronic disease, which is why so many people in the longevity space are paying attention to it right now. i think the future of peptides is going way beyond just “fat loss” and “muscle growth.”

3 months ago i started documenting my indian parents on a structured peptide protocol focused on recovery, inflammation, sleep, joint health, and overall longevity. after 10 weeks of nad+, bpc, tb500, kpv, dsip, and the wolverine stack, we’re now entering phase 2. after reviewing labs with a wellness physician, i started both of my parents on retatrutide to help improve blood sugar, hba1c, cholesterol, lipids, metabolic health, and overall recovery. my mom has a history of elevated blood sugar and knee osteoarthritis, while my dad occasionally deals with elevated cholesterol along with hip and knee pain. they already eat clean, stay active, walk regularly, do yoga, and eat high protein, so this wasn’t about fixing terrible habits. everything has been structured, monitored, and adjusted carefully. i’ll keep documenting everything transparently as we go.

posted about this retatrutide cancer paper 6 months ago and people thought i was overhyping it now more people are finally realizing how important metabolism, insulin signaling, and immune environment are in cancer progression still preclinical data. still early. but definitely one of the more interesting reta discussions out there Dr. Chaudhury owns and manages Premier Bio Labs

I feel bad for the placebo group in the Reta trials These mfs thought they were abt to lose all this fat by being supplied with free weightloss drugs but they were pinning BAC water instead while all the other test subjects got shredded 😭

@ThePepGuy Been doing it every day for the past week or so. It helped me get out of a mental slump. Love it. Doesn’t last long at all though but gives you the kick you need to progress

@rahulmodifit that's a solid approach to dosing energy and recovery are pretty intertwined with mitochondrial function so it's good you're monitoring those closely

I saw a dude on TikTok take all his peptide needles to a clean needle exchange and walked out with 100 insulin syringes for free. I’m not saying you should do this method… but this method does exist.

@MBehr22 Mots c is way more noticeable in terms of energy and endurance, but ss31 is working behind the scenes so I don’t expect to feel much. I didn’t feel a drop off of energy from switching to mots c to ss31

not feeling the mots-c withdrawal fatigue is a good early sign. could mean ss-31 is already buffering the transition. hrv and resting heart rate are where youd confirm its real and not a placebo window. mitochondrial work shows up there before it shows up in mental clarity. you logging those?

lol the chances of me having mitochondrial dysfunction are very low so those doses aren’t for everybody. there are also studies and anecdotal reports showing benefits at much lower doses depending on the goal, sensitivity, and administration method. even some people with mitochondrial dysfunction/chronic fatigue report responding to sub-1 mg doses. People also take mots c in doses of 2mg+ while I stay 1 mg or below because that was moving the needle for me. I have my clients do the same. Less is more
