So one time I witnessed an altercation and I just stood by the side frozen. Later I wondered why I didn't intervene. No good reason came to mind. Fast forward a few weeks at T1 I was waiting for some family at arrivals when two cab drivers got into a fight. It seemed to finish when one of them started to walk away but nothingnof the sort. He opened his dickie and took out his spanner with murderous intent. Luckily I was prepared. I shouted at him in my manliest voice and I think something pierced the veil of rage and brought him to his senses. I like to believe that I saved a lot of trouble that day. So, young men, when you see a fight like this just step in and break it up. Don't be a bozo. (If it's a bust up between street thugs of political parties let them have at it). And ladies if your husband is fighting try to distract the *other* fellow.

Is this the reward for asking for basic civic sense? Elderly man was allegedly assaulted after stopping a cab driver (MH04MR5282) from spitting near Jupiter Hospital, Thane. Arrest the accused and take strict action. @ThaneCityPolice @ThaneTraffic @CMOMaharashtra @mieknathshinde

@Yaduvanshi8999 @KataraSankalp And how do they explain lack of collective civic values in India while PCGDP of 60k is definitely not a benchmark, countries with 6-10k per capita also have better collective behaviour

I think most people know about Sachin's iconic 98 vs Pakistan, but here's something many fans may not know. He actually took a runner during that innings because he was struggling physically, yet still managed to play one of the greatest knocks in ODI history. Facing that bowling attack, handling that pressure, and still scoring 98 while not fully fit makes the innings even more special. 🔥

Sachin Tendulkar’s suggestions to restore balance in T20 cricket and IPL (ESPNcricinfo) 1. Scrap the Impact Player rule. 2. Allow one bowler per team to bowl up to five overs instead of the current four-over limit. 3. Introduce dual Powerplays: a) A four-over batting Powerplay. b) A two-over bowling Powerplay, during which the fielding side is permitted one additional fielder outside the 30-yard circle. Tendulkar believes these changes could help restore the balance between bat and ball in modern T20 cricket.

We know many Indians got their licence without properly learning traffic rules, road signs, or basic driving discipline and that is exactly why these things keep happening. A proper CBT based test on traffic rules, signs, road behaviour and driving ethics should be mandatory before handing out licences.

One idiot overtakes on a 2 lane hill road, 10 more follow like sheep and boom another traffic jam. Zero road sense, patience. Looking at these scenes, these places will soon look and feel like an average overcrowded Indian city. At least the govt should put a limit on the number of vehicles entering per day.

@siddharth_iitm Identifying negatives in a country doesn’t mean that someone hates the country, if someone is ok with the negatives and doesn’t want improvement I would say that person is more selfish and prioritises himself more than the country

I think Ravi Handa wakes up everyday and searches for stupid things happening in the country. The country that gave him the wealth and respect that he deserves. Now his feed is customised for him, giving him negatives of the country that he so craves. And when he sees such stupid acts from the feed that he so customised for himself, he writes his favourite lines - leave country immediately - I can't because I have made a great living here - Kaisa desh hai ye Etc etc. Don't be Ravi Handa!
Ravi Handa@ravihanda

Kya desh hai ye. Naa maalik ko majdoor pe bharosa hai. Naa majdoor ko maalik pe. Sab ek doosre ka khoon choosne ka tarika dhoondte rehte hai. You can call it capitalism but capitalism without enforcement of laws is how you get low trust society like India.

Dear PM @narendramodi - If you really want people to reduce their overseas travel, then the lowest-hanging fruit is to make Goa appealing again. And the first step is to smash the taxi-mafia in Goa. They have been pampered for far too long. End their menace.

No Cost EMI” in India is peak marketing comedy. Bank charges interest. Seller calls it a “discount”. Customer feels smart. Everyone claps like it’s free money. 😂 Translation: “You are paying interest… but we renamed it so you won’t notice.”

✅ Checklist complete। Certificate of Ego मिल जाए इन्हें। 🏆 आपकी गाड़ी में dashcam है? क्योंकि ऐसे drivers रोज़ मिलते हैं।

From 1 May, Maharashtra is applying a rule of knowing basic Marathi on Auto and Taxi drivers in state. They will go to a registration centre to read, write, and speak Marathi. I support it. While some might feel this is outrageous and unions are deciding to protest, it is not really a high expectation. I don’t understand how you never tried to learn the language while working in Maharashtra for decades. Most signboards are in Marathi, you meet Marathi speaking people daily, you just catch the language naturally. You have to be stubborn to not to use it. While I support this language requirement for auto & taxi drivers, I would also like to see it applied in corporate & other jobs as they are the ones who are most ignorant for the language. Just add some more days for learning how to write. Marathis love the literature. Most people I know have read some poet or some writer. Many of them love to write on their own. The language sentiment comes from this love for literature. They cannot see it perish and we must respect it. Jai Maharashtra!

This is the preliminary review. By the intermediate review they will tell us that none of the accused were within a dozen miles of any of their group companies. There will be no final review required by that time.

🚨 IMPORTANT: TCS CEO says co has appointed Deloitte and Trilegal to lead internal investigation. Clarifies that Nida Khan is not a HR manager and say preliminary review of the systems and records pertaining to the Nashik unit indicates that they have not received any complaints of the nature that are being alleged on either our ethics or POSH channels. Full Statement ⏬ 1. We have engaged the services of expert teams from Deloitte and a prominent law firm Trilegal as independent counsel to the internal investigation led by Ms. Aarthi Subramanian, President and COO, TCS. 2. We have constituted an Oversight committee chaired by Mr. Keki Mistry, Independent Director of TCS. 3. The findings of the internal investigation will be presented to the Oversight committee, for review and implementation of any recommendations We would also like to put certain facts on record: • Ms. Nida Khan who is being repeatedly mentioned in the press as HR manager of TCS, is neither a HR manager nor responsible for recruitment. She served as a process associate and did not hold any leadership responsibilities. • Our unit in Nashik continues to operate and serve our clients. Reports in the press about the unit being shut down are absolutely untrue. • While detailed reviews are still underway, a preliminary review of the systems and records pertaining to the Nashik unit indicates that we have not received any complaints of the nature that are being alleged on either our ethics or POSH channels.

India becoming an SUV-heavy market is honestly strange. Narrow roads, tight cities, chaotic parking and everything points to smaller cars. But aspiration > practicality here. We don’t buy for utility. We buy for how it makes us feel we’ve “arrived.”
