SUB 25 MINUTE 5KM!! A few weeks before I announced the UK attempt I set myself a goal to try get sub 25 before I set off for my challenge. Today on the last 5K, we have done it. 24.17 For me this means absolutely everything, it may not be some mad challenge but goals like this make running so beautiful. Very grateful to say we also set a PB on my mile (6.48) and 2 mile (14.36)- something months ago I didn’t think would be possible. Thank you for believing in me❤️

NEW: NYPD detective under fire after showing up in a rap video with a G-string on. Seven-year NYPD veteran Melissa Mercado is under fire for allegedly partaking in rapper S-Quire's "Doin That" music video. Mercado is currently assigned to the Bronx Special Victims Unit and has been employed by the NYPD since 2018. "I have no words," said one detective. "If she is performing for money, if she has a side gig, the job would want to know about that," a source told the New York Post. "The member would be obligated to file an off-duty employment application. I would say nothing she does in the video is the department’s business."

One thing that genuinely amuses me about pro-Israel trolls claiming that Amnesty International has “redefined” the term genocide is that Amnesty actually employs a conservative definition. Amnesty’s approach aligns with the restrictive definition codified in international law by the UN, not the broader and more expansive sociological framework originally conceptualised by Raphael Lemkin. In fact, genocide scholars, sociologists, and many international law experts have long argued that Lemkin’s original sociological framework, far more expansive than the current international legal definition, should replace the highly conservative definition used in international human rights law (IHRL).

London please help. I’m praying for a miracle, I’ve just got into the office and noticed my mums locket (in all these photos) that I wear every day has fallen off my neck on my walk in. My mum died when I was seven and her jewellery is most of what I have of her. I’m devastated
