@newoxof I totally agree, they could have done MUCH less and we still would have known what was going to happen, it was way too graphic & went on far too long, & the very brief trigger warning at the start could easily be missed, the blurb describes it as 'outrageous & for adults only'

i can’t reconcile that scene. good story to tell. and i get that hollyoaks later allows them to tell it in a different way to the man show. but im asking myself was it necessary or was it used just for shock. and i cat help but come to the latter. #hollyoakslater

I know later was always darker but I don’t remember it ever being that dark 😳really don’t think there was any need for that scene with dodger to be as dark and explicit as it was, just taking him into the bedroom and shutting the door could have implied it enough #HollyoaksLater
