@Hickenlooper If everybody did Mail in voting the way Florida does it wouldn’t be an issue. But you have states like Colorado who send out ballots to anyone and everyone whether they’re registered devoted or not Colorado does not have a gold standard voting process.

According to Trump, mail-in voting is only cheating when everyone else does it, not him. Mail-in voting is safe, secure and convenient. Always has been, always will be. Period.

If Republicans want to shove the SAVE Act into reconciliation, then have at it. Democrats will fight it tooth and nail, every step of the way. They're going to find it very difficult to jam these massive changes to the American election system.

Democrats put 9 bills forward to fund TSA. Trump and Republicans blocked every bill because they want to tie TSA workers’ paychecks to billions in more unchecked funding for ICE. The answer is clear: fund TSA and not ICE.

Donald Trump called mail-in voting “mail-in cheating” on Monday. That same day, news broke that he just voted by mail in a Florida special election. His polling place is a 15-minute drive from Mar-a-Lago. He spent the last two weekends there. He mailed it anyway. Donald Trump voted by mail in today’s special election in Florida. Republicans want to take this right away from everyone else. These extremists are complete and total phonies.

Long lines at airports. TSA agents not getting paid. Yet Trump says, “no deals with the Democrats.” Republicans own this shutdown chaos.

Trump may soon deploy the 82nd Airborne Division to the Middle East. Paratroopers always get the job done. I know because I also served in this division. I also know what it’s like to be deployed with no clear strategy or end game. Americans deserve better.

Democrats are ready to fund TSA, the Coast Guard, and FEMA. It’s Donald Trump who’s blocking paychecks and responsible for this shutdown. It doesn’t have to be this way.
