🚩 HUGE VICTORY for Hindu Devotees! A historic judgment by the Hon'ble Division Bench Madras High Court paves the way to restore the sanctity of Temple Administration! The Madurai Bench of Madras HC of Hon. Justice Dr. Anita Sumanth and Hon. Justice Shri C. Kumarappan (Order dt 23.01.2026) has QUASHED the Govt's unilateral orders ₹40 Cr "Iconic Project" at Sri Kallazhagar Temple - illegally using the temple funds and properties. The Bench held that using surplus funds without Sec 36 sanctions is ILLEGAL. The "Iconic Project" stands quashed. The Court slammed the @tnhrcedept "To have a major temple managed by a Fit Person/EO for decades is a TRAVESTY of Law." ****Proposals MUST emanate from Trustees, not the Minister or the State**** Key takeaways: 1. State cannot treat Temples as its "personal fiefdom." 2. Trustees are Supreme; EOs are merely temporary staff. The presence of the Executive Officer in this temple is illegal. The Court ruled that Executive Officers (EOs) cannot squat in temples indefinitely (like the 50+ years at Kallazhagar). 3. Temple funds cannot be diverted for "crass commercial development." 4. Heritage & Agamas prevail over concrete structures. 5. No concrete structures near ancient shrines/water bodies. 6 . ASI & Local planning permissions are MANDATORY for Sri Kallazhagar Temple. There are many time-bound directions given by the Hon'ble Bench to the Government and @tnhrcedept in this order. Let's see if these instrumentalities obey the directions of the Court in this latest judgments or they brazenly disobey them as they done in the case of publication of audit reports and in the Tirupparankundram Case. The era of the Department ruling over the Deity will be soon over. Power will be back where it belongs—with the Trustees who follow the law - and more importantly who follow Temple Dharma ! Happy to inform that Madurai bench of MHC has admitted a writ for ligting Karthigai deepam atop the tirupurangundram hill. This will be 15 mts away from Sikandar dargah. Blessed to argue the matter for the petitioner.

அறநிலையத்துறையா? அன்பு நிலைய துறையா? என்று சொல்லும் உதயநிதி அவர்களே மசூதி சர்ச்சுகளில் அரசு சார்பில் அவர்கள் பணத்தில் இது போன்று கல்யாணம் நடத்த துணிச்சல் இருக்கிறதா ? அதுதானே மதச்சார்பற்ற தன்மை ?

The Hon'ble Division Bench of Hon. Justice Shri S M Subramaniam and Hon. Justice Shri Arul Murugan in Madras High Court (Madurai Bench) has quashed 5 Government Orders issued by Tamil Nadu Govt approving construction of commercial Wedding Halls using Temple lands and funds. Their Lordships have passed a detailed order in this regard quoting Sastras, Supreme Court and High Court decisions. They have enumerated on how temple funds can be utilized only for "religious purposes" - the charities should also have religious purpose basis. The misfits and looters in the @tnhrcedept wanted to issue lucrative contracts at the cost of temple funds and properties. Their Lordships' well-reasoned and detailed order has put a halt to the greedy activities of the @tnhrcedept officials. Today, we can rely only on the Courts and the Hon'ble Judges who stand for Dharma, boldly protecting our Temple traditions and properties. I bow down before this temple of Justice.

Excellent news from Madurai - My colleague in Sanatan Dharma - a fierce fighter for Temple Dharma - Sri Rama Ravikumar @ramaravi7779 of Hindu Tamizhar Katchi had challenged 5 illegal Govt orders - - - - Issued by Tamil Nadu Government allowing @tnhrcedept Executive Officers in Temples (functioning in the temples by FRAUD) to build wedding halls using temple funds and properties - a purpose not allowed under TN HR&CE ACT, 1959. Today Hon'ble Division Bench hearing Public Interest Litigations in Madurai Bench of Madras High Court quashed all these Govt orders. A slap on the face of the @tnhrcedept officials who are bent upon issuing lucrative contracts with temple funds for illegal purposes - even after Hon'ble Supreme Court affirmed the order passed by Hon'ble 1st Bench of Madras High Court on 09.01.2025 (Bhaskar's Case - Sri Nandhiswarar Temple - Advocate B. Jagannath) stating that Temple funds should not be used for purposes not allowed under the ACT. Crores and Crores of Temple funds now saved from being looted by Govt Misfits thanks to the order of the Hon'ble Division Bench in Madurai. ஐயா- அமைச்சர் திரு @PKSekarbabu அவர்களே! வணக்கம்! மூத்த குடிமக்கள் உறைவிடம்- கோயில் பணத்தில் அல்லது கோயில் பொது நிதியில் கட்டுவது- முழுக்க முழுக்கச் சட்ட விரோதம்- நீதி மன்றத் தீர்ப்பிற்கு அவமதிப்பு - இ:.து உங்களுக்கு நன்றாகத் தெரிந்த விஷயம் தான். மேலும் 24.11.2023 ல் என்னுடைய வழக்கு WP எண் 12673/2022 இறுதி விசாரணையின் போது, அரசுத் தலைமை வழக்கறிஞர் “மூத்த குடிமக்கள் உறைவிடம் விஷயமாக 12.01.2022 தேதியிட்ட அரசாணை எண் 13 ஐ திரும்பப் பெறுவதாகவும், இனி சட்டம் அனுமதிக்கும் விஷயங்களுக்கு மாத்திரம் கோயில் அறங்கவலர்கள் சமத்தித்தால் கோயில் பணம் செலவு செய்யப்படும்” என்று நீதிபதிகள் முன்பாகத் உறுதியாகத் தெரிவித்தார். நீதிபதிகள் தலைமை வழக்கறிஞரின் இந்த வாக்குறுதியை பதிவு செய்து வழக்கை முடித்த வைத்தனர். அதன் பிறகு தமிழ்நாடு அரசு அந்த அரசாணையை ரத்து செய்தது. தற்போது கொளத்தூரில்- அது தமிழ்நாடு முதல்வர் தொகுதி என்பதால் - கோயில் பணத்தில் மூத்த குடிமக்கள் உறைவிடம் கட்டுகிறீர்களே- நீதி மன்றத்தை மதிக்கவே கூடாது என்று உங்கள் அரசு முடிவெடுத்து விட்டதா? கோயில் பணத்தை உங்கள் இஷ்டத்திற்கு செலவு செய்வீர்களா? இந்த அறநிலையத்துறைக்கு எதற்காக லட்சக்கணக்கான ரூபாய் சம்பளத்தில் (அதுவும் கோயில்களில் இருந்து எடுக்கும் பணம் தான்) ஓர் IAS அதிகாரி? ஒரு தஞ்சாவூர் தலையாட்டி பொம்மை போதுமே?
