🚨Latest Alumina Ship just about to depart Ireland for Russia.
Estonian owned KELLY from Hansa shipping is using a Maltese flag to bring her cargo of war material to Mordor
This shames 3 European countries; Ireland, Malta and Estonia. Only it is suicidal for Estonia

Yesterday, there was rather unusual activity along sections of the Ukraine–Belarus border – on the Belarusian side. We are closely documenting everything and keeping the situation under control. If necessary, we will react.
Ukraine is ready to defend its people and its sovereignty. Everyone who is being drawn into any aggressive actions against Ukraine must understand this.

More countries must stand up against China’s attacks on Panama’s sovereignty. The Western Hemisphere must remain stable, prosperous and free of malign influence.
Secretary Marco Rubio@SecRubio
The sovereignty of our hemisphere is non-negotiable. We are deeply concerned by China’s targeted economic pressure after the Balboa & Cristóbal terminals decision. We stand in solidarity with Panama. Any attempts to undermine Panama’s sovereignty are a threat to us all. state.gov/releases/offic…

A young man sets fire to a railway cabinet in Ukraine, and records the flames with his phone. A Telegram channel shares the video, attributing it to the work of an underground, pro-Russia resistance movement.
But the arsonist wasn't a Ukrainian dissident. He was a 26-year-old Moldovan hired via Telegram for just $300.
Read our latest reporting with @Slidstvo_info and @risemoldova on how such "single-use" agents are being contracted to carry out acts of sabotage in Ukraine and fuel propaganda about an internal resistance campaign: buff.ly/3ifitxN

The self-proclaimed liberators are just another step in the Kremlin's consistent attempt to justify its brutal imperialism, notably in the war against Ukraine. Lies, manipulation, and absurd are their favourite tracks to play from the #disinformation playlist. #WordsMatter

Sorry, Beijing — you don’t own the world’s airspace
Taiwan is steadily being forced off the global stage. Since Xi Jinping took power, Beijing’s systematic campaign of economic coercion and inducements has nearly halved the number of countries recognizing Taipei.
Now, Beijing is deploying a dangerous new tactic: pressuring nations to deny transit permissions for Taiwanese officials.
Taiwanese President Lai Ching-te recently had to cancel a trip to Eswatini—Taiwan’s last African ally—after Seychelles, Mauritius, and Madagascar abruptly rescinded flight permissions for his presidential aircraft without warning.
Taipei cited intense Chinese economic pressure for the sudden reversal. This assessment aligns with Xi’s recent $60 billion financial pledge to African leaders and Beijing’s immediate public praise for the flight cancellations.
This maneuver aims to strip Taiwan of its most vital diplomatic lifeline: old-fashioned, face-to-face meetings.
Unable to match Beijing’s massive infrastructure funding dollar-for-dollar—a disadvantage that already cost Taiwan three Pacific Island allies—Taipei relies heavily on traditional, interpersonal diplomacy to survive.
Taiwan’s advantage is its "values-based" diplomacy, championing mutual prosperity and shared democratic principles. However, unlike China's high-visibility cash deals, affirming these values requires constant, sustained engagement.
This direct engagement has proven successful with allies like Palau, where reciprocal presidential visits have advanced mutual interests, and it serves as a powerful tool for nurturing ties with Taiwanese nationals abroad during transit stops.
Yet Beijing is quietly and effectively closing off these avenues. This marks Lai’s second forced cancellation in a year, following the Trump administration’s reported denial of U.S. stopovers last June to avoid disrupting trade talks with China.
Taiwan has every right to visit the countries of its choosing in accordance with international principles.
If the democratic world continues to quietly shelve legitimate engagements with Taiwan to placate Beijing, it risks normalizing a highly insidious form of autocratic coercion.

BREAKING: President Lai Ching-te has arrived in Eswatini, Taiwan’s only diplomatic ally in Africa, after a previously scheduled trip was postponed in late April. The delay came after three African nations revoked overflight permissions for Lai’s charter jet, a move Taipei said was due to Chinese interference.
Lai announced his arrival in a Facebook post on Saturday, saying the visit was arranged following days of coordination by diplomatic and national security teams. He said the trip aims to deepen economic, agricultural, cultural, and educational ties between the two countries.
This is a developing story. Follow TaiwanPlus News for more updates.
