@DPJHodges @CountBinface The Commons shouldn’t indulge Farage’s nonsense. Just refuse to appoint him to a relevant office and make him sit it out. MPs can’t resign by principle, that’s what he signed up for when he stood. Make him stick to it.

Jokes aside, here's the following scenario. None of the other main parties stand. @CountBinface does. He becomes the magnet for anti-Reform votes. We've seen significant tactical voting in the past. What sort of % does the noble Count need to get to see Farage embarrassed...

I don’t ever agree with booing your own team. Booing them this early in a game is insane. What possible good has it ever done? If you want to lift them, cheer them and get behind them.

You can't even say it's too hot in the UK without a boomer appearing in the comments to remind everyone that it was hotter in 1976.

it was surprising to hear @UniteSharon criticize Ed Miliband's record as 'job destroying' climate activism. We hope she reconsiders, on the day where UK is under extreme heat warnings. The climate crisis is real, we need a Chancellor who fights it. theguardian.com/politics/2026/…

Radical concept: elect a Prime Minister and have them serve a full term, even if they’re shit. Voters having the final say in who runs the country would be a super fun idea.

The Somerset Farmhouse of 1 North Street, Williton were approached by a "food influencer" that wanted to charge them £2,000 for a review. They put out a video of Sally eating a sausage roll instead 😆. Lets make Sally and the Somerset Farmhouse famous for free.

Not approving the Code won't achieve anything in terms of the law. These MPs are either not bright enough to realise they need to advocate for a change in the law to override sex with gender identity, eroding women's and lesbian's protections, or too dishonest to do just that.

Well this is quite the roll of dishonour - MPs who don't understand that the law in question is the Equality Act, as interpreted by the Supreme Court. So who are trying to prevent statutory guidance on that law from being approved, because 🤷‍♀️ edm.parliament.uk/early-day-moti…

This is no way for people to have to get water during a heatwave! Having just had latest meeting with @sewateruk, it's clear that our whole system is creaking under pressure. Time for Governments to remove party politics and work together to build resilience into our water supply

@CarolineLucas If he can strongly align with Green and LibDem it might just be enough to persuade EU we could be serious partners again. He might need to introduce compulsory voting to keep Reform marginal as MEPs too to sweeten the deal

I hope this isn’t true. There are times when it’s more important to put country before party. This is one of them. Burnham’s longstanding commitment to a fairer voting system could transform our democracy & counter dire threat of a Reform UK government theguardian.com/politics/2026/…
