Watching full blown wars on Twitter is the most surreal experience of modern life. War, war, NBA post, F1, relationship advice, Epstein, war, Champions League draw, missiles.

@herotelfibre call out and service is possibly the same as or worse than telkom. Absolutely horrendous to deal with. I am currently paying for a service that I am not receiving. No scheduled date given as to when technicians will come attend to the fibre line. Ridiculous.

@Vodacom is the worst service provider across all networks. They constantly scam people using the term "upgrade" and then leave you without answers. Every customer care call doesnt assist or fix any problems. Useless networks provider.

After more than 20 years of service, Arsenal fired former kit man Mark Bonnick. Not for any wrongdoing but simply for standing with Palestine. There was no misconduct. No hate. Just solidarity. @Arsenal must apologise, reinstate Mark, and stop silencing support for Palestine.

STATEMENT: Africa4Palestine Condemns Violent Disruption of Peaceful Activists at Loftus During Malawi-South Africa Football Match: Africa4Palestine strongly condemns the violent disruption of peaceful activists during the Malawi-South Africa football match at Loftus Versfeld Stadium in Pretoria today. We are deeply alarmed by reports that at least five activists were arrested, several individuals were pepper-sprayed, and Red Card Israel T-shirts were confiscated by police. These actions represent a grave violation of the fundamental rights to freedom of expression and peaceful assembly, principles enshrined in South Africa’s Constitution and international human rights frameworks. Our activists were peacefully advocating for justice and solidarity with the Palestinian people, using the platform of the football match to highlight the ongoing human rights abuses in Palestine. The Red Card Israel campaign is a non-violent call to hold Israel accountable for its violations of international law. The use of excessive force, including pepper spray, and the theft of T-shirts by law enforcement is an unacceptable assault on democratic freedoms. We call on the South African authorities to: 1. Immediately release the arrested activists and drop all charges against them. 2. Investigate the use of pepper spray and the confiscation of personal property by police, ensuring accountability for those responsible. 3. Uphold the right to peaceful protest and freedom of expression, particularly on issues of global human rights and justice. Africa4Palestine stands in solidarity with the activists who were targeted today and reaffirms our commitment to advocating for Palestinian rights through peaceful means. We urge the public, civil society, and international community to join us in condemning this attack on democratic principles and to demand justice for those affected.

In a letter to the executive director of the Helen Suzman Foundation Naseema Fakir, Lawrence Nowosenetz makes allegations about Gift Of The Givers founder Imtiaz Solliman. Some of these allegations include: Support for Radical Palestinian Causes: Allegedly involved in supporting radical Palestinian causes, including founding the South African branch of the Al Aqsa Foundation, which has ties to the Muslim Brotherhood who aims to destroy Israel. Connection to Hamas: It is claimed that Gift of the Givers has potentially financially supported Hamas, directly or indirectly, through ties to the Union of Good, a network established by Yusuf Al-Qaradawi to funnel funds to Hamas. Award from Yusuf Al-Qaradawi: Dr. Sooliman was honored by Al-Qaradawi, a supporter of suicide bombings and jihad, for his services to Palestine in 2011, raising concerns about his ideological alignment. Involvement in Extremist Rally: Sooliman allegedly participated in a rally on October 5, 2023, alongside extremists such as Sheikh Riad Fataar and Nazier Paulsen, which celebrated Hamas’ attacks and promoted radical Islamist views. Antisemitic Comments: Allegedly made antisemitic comments during the rally, claiming Zionists "run the world with fear" and control people with money, while dismissing concerns about global antisemitism. Disdain for International Law: In an interview with his sister, Sooliman reportedly stated that he follows Koranic law above all other laws and does not need permission from anyone to break international laws. Lack of Financial Transparency: Concerns raised about Gift of the Givers' financial transparency, particularly regarding the movement of cash in Gaza and how it might be used to support Hamas or other militant groups. Cash Distribution in Gaza: The organization is accused of distributing cash in Gaza, with fears that this money may be supporting jihadist militants and their families. Martyrdom and Jihadist Theology: Sooliman is alleged to have supported Hamas’ theology of martyrdom and celebrated Palestinian losses as a "success" that reflects the military power of religious faith. Khuzaa Clinic’s Possible Use in Attacks: Allegations suggest that the Gift of the Givers' Khuzaa Clinic, located near Kibbutz Nir Oz, may have been used as a launchpad for the October 7th, 2023, Hamas attacks. Risk of Terrorist Financing: Concerns that Gift of the Givers could face exposure as a fundraiser for Hamas or other terrorist organizations, similar to other groups sanctioned for terror financing. Association with Terror-Linked Figures: Sooliman’s association with extremist figures, such as Sheikh Ebrahim Gabriels and the Union of Good, further raises concerns about his connections to terror networks. #_edn1" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener">blogs.timesofisrael.com/to-the-helen-s…

Today marks one year since the start of an onslaught against the Palestinian people that has thus far claimed more than 43,000 lives. The violence that has been committed by Israel against Palestinians over many decades intensified after an attack on Israel by Hamas and other Palestinian armed groups on 7 October last year. shorturl.at/mYtXM

@CyrilRamaphosa This war could have been long over if Hamas released the hostages and chose peace, Israel did not invade them, they are looking for the hostages. Not that difficult to understand. I stand with Israel.

@CyrilRamaphosa Before shedding tears for the people of Gaza, remember that they created Hamas, elected it, supported it, supplied it, worked for it, hid it, sheltered it, filled it's ranks and celebrated all of its atrocities.

The conflict began with Hamas' unprovoked attack on Israeli civilians on 7 Oct 2023. Your divisive statement shifts the blame onto Israel for Hamas' atrocities, and reverses cause and effect. You are the President of all South Africans, including the Jewish community.
