The thing that makes me the most hopeless about Pakistan is the fact that military boot polishers are being heralded as heroes of democracy, ISI touts are being celebrated as voices of dissent, hate preachers and charlatans are being shared as voices of rationality and podcasters who took 2 crores from the ISI to set up their channels are now being compared to Dhurv Rathee. Now Punjab has passed a defamation law that criminalizes all criticism and Pakistan is installing a firewall to monitor all social media. One day I will make a similar video telling you everything I have been through. What people like Muzammil do is much harder than what Dhruv Rathee is doing - living in Pakistan and doing this work consistently for 5-6 years takes a lot out of you - ALOT!

@Iamsamirarora You taking it too literal. What the original author meant is that watching paint dry & grass grow is painfully boring and that's how investing should be.

Tweet does not make sense because paint dries quite fast and therefore is he saying that we should invest with horizon of a week max. Even grass grows within a month or two so he was definitely short term. Not sure why one uses these quotes to justify long term investing.
