Why I believe that road to $100k was just the warm-up to the bull run TL:DR - Every bullrun the market price of bitcoin rises way above the mining cost. For this cycle the price of bitcoin is still roughly the same as the avg mining cost Expanded into a 🧵👇

Who actually creates the value in education? The institution that grants the credential? The educator who built the curriculum? Or the learner who does the work? And whoever creates it - are they fairly rewarded for it? Going live in one hour. Set reminder below👇

More than a year ago, my health was bad. My focus span was a joke, motivation was low, annoyed and depression was knocking my door. What i did was simple: > deleted instagram, and X > started reading books (everyday) > stop following rage bait content and content creators. > cleaned my yt, and social media feed > delete all social media apps from mobile > call friends (real friends) weekly to talk > when was get the urge to check reels..I either go for a walk or read a book. things started changing. Apparently the continues stream of unasked information was the culprit.

These categories are relevant till clarity act passes, once that is in effect we will have something called "Network Token" Network Token - the value of which is dependent upon the entrepreneurial or managerial efforts of an ancillary asset originator (read: token issuer) or a related person (read: node, farmer, etc...)
Ali🇦🇪@Rizwan_Ali

The 5 token categories (finally official): — Digital Commodities → BTC, ETH (NOT securities) — Digital Collectibles → NFTs — Digital Tools → utility tokens — Stablecoins → not securities — Digital Securities → actual securities — Mining → not a securities transaction — Staking → not a securities transaction — Airdrops → mostly not securities — Wrapped assets → covered

A few years ago, “RWAs on-chain” was mostly a narrative. Everyone talked about tokenization. Very little real capital actually moved on-chain. The missing piece was verification. Last week: • @afiprotocol_xyz launched a $50M RWA-backed stablecoin vault on Monad with @multiplifi • AFI got featured on the @monad_eco page The next phase of DeFi won’t run on proof-of-promise. It will run on Proof-of-Reserve infrastructure. That’s what we’re building at AFI.

Whats the value of a reward distribution tool when the airdrop distribution cost has gone down to near zero? It definitely helped by passing on the transaction cost of claim from the protocol to the user Another angle is a lot of rewards can go unclaimed which is a saving But the main unlock could be discoverability What are the tools you use to discover the ongoing rewards from a protocol? I use @merkl_xyz

Good news from around the world that nobody is talking about: 1) The blue Macaws that inspired Rio are back in the wild after 20 years of being extinct. 2) Whales are gradually returning to ocean areas where they have not been seen for decades. 3) Indonesia has officially banned elephant riding tourism throughout the country, which has become a major victory for animal protection and ethical tourism. 4) The ozone layer is recovering faster than previously thought, and according to projections, it will return to normal levels during the period between the years 2040 and 2066. 5) HIV: Anvisa approves new prevention with efficacy close to 100%. 6) Revolutionary vaccine shows advances in slowing Alzheimer's and brings new hopes. 7) The number of paraplegic patients who regained movement after using the medication has risen to 4, a 100% Brazilian medication created by researchers from UFRJ! 8) Costa Rica will provide for its own electricity needs, which are generated 100% from renewable energy sources, throughout the year. 9) In Burkina Faso, millions of trees have been planted. The goal is to reach 20 million trees by the end of 2025 and to restore 5 million hectares of forest by 2030. 10) In Peru, there has been an improvement in water quality, and national policies are focused on expanding access to safe drinking water and sanitation services for all citizens of the country. 11) In Helsinki, over the past year, not a single fatal traffic accident has occurred, thanks to reduced speed limits and improvements in infrastructure for pedestrians and cyclists.

A lot of people have been asking about listing NAV tokens on exchanges and providing market-making support. It’s a good question, but it usually comes from a misunderstanding of how NAV tokens work. Hence, here's what a NAV token is: A NAV token represents a proportional claim on the underlying assets of a vault or fund. The price of the token is derived from the Net Asset Value (NAV) of the portfolio, not from speculative trading demand. If a vault holds $10M in assets and has 1M tokens outstanding, each token has an NAV of $10. When the underlying assets generate yield, the NAV increases. Token holders benefit through price appreciation of the token, not through emissions. This structure is common in traditional finance: • Mutual funds • ETFs • Hedge fund shares The token simply makes this on-chain, transparent, and programmable. Because of this, NAV tokens are not designed for exchange trading or market making. Why? If the token trades far above NAV → buyers are overpaying. If it trades far below NAV → sellers are exiting at a discount. Instead, NAV tokens are typically minted and redeemed directly with the vault, keeping the price tightly anchored to the underlying assets. Think of it less like a memecoin, and more like owning shares of a strategy.

Wondering why blockchains are being called the next big accounting innovation after double entry book-keeping? Here: Double entry book-keeping = transaction records which balances themselves Smart contracts = conditional transactions which executes themselves

People loop yield options for the same reason they lever real estate: In Real Estate: Down payment → mortgage → rental income covers debt → refi → scale portfolio. In DeFi: Deposit yield asset → borrow against it → redeploy → amplify carry. Core of the strategy: Put down equity → borrow against it → buy more of the same yield-producing asset → repeat. It’s not about price speculation. It’s about scaling cashflow with structured leverage. But DeFi looping has structural advantages: • No banks or credit approvals • Instant refinancing (no paperwork, no months of delay) • Lower entry size (no 20% down payment barrier) • Fully transparent LTV + liquidation rules • Composable across protocols (stack incentives + base yield) Both scale cashflow. One is gated and slow. The other is programmable capital.
