@_Jambax Enhanced Input is really great in making me think 30minutes about something what would take me 5 minutes to implement with old system or just key presses.

I hate Enhanced Input so fucking much. Nothing but trouble. Why would you wipe, and reconstruct ALL Triggers and Modifiers when Mapping Contexts change!? Look at the object count in the top right. 50,000 new UObjects in a matter of seconds thanks to a bug introduced in 5.7.

@thsottiaux It's physically painful having to stop typing, reach for the mouse and click the close button on the ad so many times a day.

Hello. We have reset Codex usage limits across all plans to let everyone experiment with the magnificent plugins we just launched, and because it had been a while! You can just build unlimited things with Codex. Have fun!

Congrats Shantanu, on a legendary run at Adobe! You’ve built one of the most important software companies in the world, and expanded what’s possible for creators, entrepreneurs, and brands everywhere. What has always stood out to me is the empathy you’ve brought to the creative process and the example you’ve set as a leader. Grateful for your friendship, mentorship, and for all you’ve done for Adobe and for our industry.

@OpenAIDevs The only insult you could add to the injury of releasing for Windows so late is to release it on Microsoft Store 😵‍💫

@NicolasZu So if we're generous, about 6120€ to build this prototype. Not bad, but also not that far off from what a good indie developer could build with similar amount of resources even in pre-AI era :)

Can you believe this game is 100% AI engineered? Yes it took me 900 commits and 150 hours in one month... (and I have a day job) But it's a full 3D factory automation roguelite game with 10000s of entities running in a WEB BROWSER
Nicolas Zullo@NicolasZu

Worked with GPT-5.3-Codex to finally implement real zombie models and animations (courtesy of @quaternius) ...and to optimize the hell out of it, because where we are going, we're gonna need ZPM to go in the 100000s For a web game: It didn't disappoint! Constant 120 fps

@games_inu Yeah, I am aware, but it's just not worth using as it's incompatible with muscle memory from pretty much any other software, be it 3D software or not 🥲

@rawalanche i don't know if they did something new, but ctrl+alt drag was the shortcut for box select until now. and there are some selection options in the menu (strict selection, select occluded objects etc)

New gizmo coming in #UE 5.8 (again). This time it seems more serious: alt+drag duplicates, control+mouse button moves along axis, it shows distance and angle, and seems to work better in 2D. But explain me please, why X axis is still pointing down in top view?!?

@mweinbach It's the router routing coding question to Codex 5.3. You can easily tell when it happens by the model first giving you a short preamble of what it's about to do before starting to reason.

@redaction I'd assume there's a difference with a model anyone can prompt for couple dozen bucks a month vs a model that costs hundreds $ per prompt. My guess is that every major player has a much stronger model that's just not commercially viable yet.

Am I reading this correctly Is this the AI equivalent of the “the military has tech 20 years ahead of what’s commercially available” cliche but actually real Did Google just secretly demolish this benchmark in its entirety and just quietly sit on it
Haider.@haider1

this is happening faster than i thought DeepMind's "Aletheia" pushes gemini deep think beyond Olympiad math — reaching up to 90% on IMO-proofbench advanced and autonomously solving multiple open erdős problems i've always believed google had stronger models, but openai pushed them to release them publicly
