And they kept many black slaves for themselves as well. And yes, some free black men in the US owned black slaves too. In fact, prior to the abolition of slavery, first by the British, and eventually by the Americans, over a bloody civil war, where 360,000 Union soldiers gave their lives in the effort to keep the Union whole and to end slavery. So stop with the historic reference nonsense, and be thankful you and your family are living in the greatest country in the history of all countries. If slavery was never a thing, you would likely be stuck in some hellhole of a country in Africa. Where slavery and genocide is still practiced in some of those countries. And if you don't believe what I am telling you, get to know the writings of the great American scholar, Thomas Sowell. He has a few books on this and many other subjects like economics. You could learn much from his research and wisdom. Everyone can.

Totally reasonable. a good way to avoid the extreme heat, and less moisture in the grass. And working men often don't have daylight time to get all things done. Be thankful he is willing to keep his lawn in good condition. Start your wine a little earlier on the days he cuts the grass after 6pm. Then your anxiety will diminish. Isabella is a most beautiful name. So let's not have people calling you Karen. And remember, this is a first world problem, your life is a good life.

My neighbor was mowing their lawn around 6 P.M., and I know this might sound dramatic, but it honestly bothered me more than I expected. I get that people have busy schedules, and sometimes yard work has to happen whenever there’s time. Not everyone can mow in the middle of the day, and I understand that. But after a long week, that early evening time is when a lot of people are trying to eat dinner, relax, or finally enjoy a little quiet. So hearing a mower going for a while right outside can feel pretty frustrating. I’m not saying people should never do yard work in the evening. I just think there’s a balance between taking care of your property and being mindful of the people living nearby. Maybe I’m overthinking it, but I do feel like neighborhood courtesy matters, especially when it comes to noise. Be honest, would mowing around dinner time bother you, or is 6 P.M. still a totally reasonable time?
