Gordon Bell changed my life. He worked at Digital Equipment from 1970-1983, and as VP of R&D for Digital Equipment , he oversaw the entire VAX computing environment, the most successful 32-bit computer which altered the course of computing off of mainframes...

Today I morn the passing of one of the greatest computer engineers who ever lived, and my hero, Gordon Bell May he rest in peace.
